I use this to print on the regular old checks from my checkbook. I made a little spreadsheet with the right spacing and sit down at the beginning of the month to tear out some check from my check book and print the roughly 10 checks I need for things that I can't pay electronically. Works great and very reusable.

I received one of these free with an order of checks about 7 years ago. I have been using that one about once a month. It was starting to age, so I thought I should order a new one or 10. If you want to put one check in a laser printer, this is the way to do it. Prints perfect every time. TIP: Fold the top section over at the perforations, Before removing the protective tape From the adhesive strip. It probably says that in the instructions, But I did not read the instructions. This product may seem expensive per sheet. But when you look at the accuracy, and processes involved with producing 1 Laser Taxi and the amount of uses you can get from one Laser Taxi, compared to the cost of one or five mis-printed checks they are a bargain.

I conducted trial-and-error tests probably five times before I arrived at the correct way to place a check on the Laser Taxi adhesive before printing. I wrote to Laser Taxi's help desk twice, and received responses not in days or hours, but in minutes. Once I determined the proper placement of the check for my particular printer, I took detailed notes to assist future printing. The final product was perfect, except the text intended for the memo line printed below the line, which is a minor hiccup. (08/09/23)I later contacted Laser Taxi's help desk once more, and they provided instructions for how to adjust the printing on the memo line. (08/11/23)

The product does allow me to print single wallet size checks, even though they are only 6 inches wide. However, I found that to make this work with my Brother printer, the blank check must not be placed on the left edge of the sheet because it jams in the printer. Centering the check along the ruler at the top of the sheet allows the check to feed through the printer.
