We bought this container to hold baking soda which we use at the kitchen sink to soak/clean our vegetables. We wanted a small container to not take up a lot of counter space. The small scoop and the hinged lid allow you to open with your thumb while holding the handle so your other hand is free to use the scooper. I would definitely suggest you pay close attention to the dimensions if you are looking for something larger. As a reference the Arm & Hammer 14oz box of 'Fridge and Freezer' baking soda fit with a solid inch of space at the top. Going forward we are buying the A&H 13lb bag from a large discount warehouse, with which to refill this container.

I love the one hand open action on this container but they should have this about 50% larger! Quality is pretty decent. Include a spoon.

I bought this when we moved for our apartment and it was such a great purchase. It’s small (but not too small) and love how it comes with the lid AND serving spoon. Great product for a great price point!

I bought this because it was lightweight, opens with one hand, and would not shatter if dropped. We use the container for powdered coffee creamer. It’s small but meets every other need we had for it.
