Everything you need to conduct most filtration procedures with one convenient set. All the high-quality components are neatly packed in a custom foam insert for added protection and easy storage.

At first it barely worked. Did some troubleshooting and the funnel was leaking. It’s a two piece which is nice for clean up but doesn’t seal well. I placed tape around the funnel seam and the suction improved enough to actually display on the gauge. If you’re just starting out filtering this is a good starting point. If your advanced or have the extra $ I would recommend an electric vacuum setup with a single piece Büchner funnel personally. Filters are garbage tho whatever way you go purchase different filters! The supplied ones are not big enough and slide making the filtering process useless

Once you recognize and deal with the flaws it works pretty well. First, the funnel is made of two pieces, the basket and the funnel. The fit between them is not air tight, but I've found electrical tape does the trick. It still leaks but it's pretty functional.Second, the basket is larger than the filters which leads to solution getting underneath and floating the filter. I've fixed this by applying a slight vacuum after wetting the filter paper to help it stick while I add my solution.Finally, I opened the pressure release for the pump and added a dab of vacuum grease to the o-ring and I've found I can pull better vacuums. Be careful if you do this, the parts are pretty small and can get lost easily.

Tubes fit snugly and the glass measurements were accurate. The top is a bit heavy when fully loaded. I wish the tubing was a little bit longer, but that is an easy fix. All the seals have worked well and performed after being washed in dishwasher multiple times. Overall a solid product.

The stem broke on the beaker just trying to remove the tubing. Garbage quality.

Works as it’s supposed to….the hand pumps a bit cheap and I’m sure will break in the future but everything else is good

Simple, stable, and easy to use. Just a shame that the filter paper holder is of a size that standard papers dont fit well. Either too small or too large. Papers need holding down when pouring water in the top to prevent them lifting and water passing under the side. But this is a small problem for the price. And it is made in India for a change.
