Measuring cylinder with a 500ml capacity made of premium quality polypropylene plastic. Class B tolerance. Calibrated to contain. Translucent rigid construction and superior optical clarity. Easy to read, raised graduation lines every 5ml, and marked every 50ml. Octagonal base for extra stability, and a spout for easy pouring. Microwavable and resistant to fatigue for long term durability. High heat tolerance with a temperature range of -20 to +135°C. Autoclavable at 121°C for easy cleaning and sterilization. Cylinder stands 13.75" tall, with a base measuring 4.3" wide. Outer diameter of cylinder body measures 2.4", and inner diameter measures 2.1".

Measuring the ingredients for compost tea. Accuracy of +/- 10% is fine so not of a real concern. My ingredients are dark which helps visibility. Cylinder is strong enough to hold up in my shop.

The measurements are a little off for water. Aka needed to add an additional mark above 500 ml to for the water inside weigh 500 g. Not a big deal though since I have a scale. I’m using it to measure the Specific Gravity in ceramic glazes. I’m fining this cylinder easier to use than a hydrometer.

I added labels to the major increments of mine so I could avoid making mistakes. It's just blank HDPE with raised lettering for the increments - almost unreadable without contortions. Nicely sturdy, easy to use - with the labeling. Sharpie would work too, but...I added this to my bartending setup so I could accurately mix large-ish Igloo-size cocktails for parties. Wayyy better than any measuring cup, like, throw those things out.
