I have used CatCrap for years on my lights, and optics. Its great for cleaning off the carbon on your optics, as well as anti-fog protection on optics. One container last about a year of avid use, and the compound seems to last about 4 years in its container if you keep the lid on it. Still usable beyond that point but does dry out a bit.

Tested this by applying it to one lens and not the other of some glasses. Then I held them over a steaming bowl of hot water. The lens without the catcrap fogged immediately, while the lens with it did not.

This is the only glass cleaner I will use on anything other than cheap store glasses. The mild grit causes no harm and gently buffed out and scratches you may have.
