Note: Make sure the thickness of cabinet door is under 2.5CM (0.98 IN)
Step 1: Put the accessory hook on the cabinet door.
Step 2: Attach the back of the caddy to the hook.
Step 3: Ensure that the cabinet door can open and close freely to complete the installation.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Mount on Wall
Step 1: Clean the wall where you want to install the caddy. (Only suitable for smooth surfaces such as tiles, glass surfaces, etc.)
Step 2: Peel off the protective film of the wall mounting patch and stick on a flat and smooth surface.
Step 3: Press the adhesive film firmly to remove air bubbles.
Step 4: Secure the caddy on the wall mounting patch slot to complete the installation.

Great size compost bin with a nice brushed metal exterior. Love the ability to open the lid in two different ways. The hooks make it easy to hang on the wall or off a cabinet door, and the included bags are a nice plus! The bin has a good weight to it, which helps to seal in any unpleasant odors.

My husband did not want me to get this. He was concerned that it would not keep the odors in. However, being winter in New England, I still wanted to be able to compost yet did not want to have to go out to the backyard (we keep our compost bin far away) that frequently. I won and we gave it a try😊.It works great! Between how snugly the cover hits and the carbon filter it comes with not odors come out. The size is perfect for us - I went **weeks** without having to empty it. I was a nice surprise that it came with 30 liners!I have it hanging off the side of our stainless steel duel trash bin we keep in the kitchen. I love that there are two ways to open the bin. Flip up for a quick toss in; pull down when I need to push in lots of scraps from my cutting board.This makes composting so easy - no excuses anymore. The only problem is you will be trying to find even more things to compost. Luckily Alexia has all the answers. For the record - dryer lint works if it is from natural fibers, as does finger nails. Do not compost baked goods, meat, fish, or dairy.Enjoy stepping up for composting!!

Small but sturdy. Check the dimensions closely because it is small. Counter top perfect for a small kitchen with the occasional cooking activity. Incan usually fill the bags up in about 3 days or so depending on how much I cook. you can place it on the counter or hang it by the bottom pan door. It has a handle but I have not used it as its hangs easily with the attached plastic hanging clip. Great for small kitchens, though I recommend a larger one if you cook for a family or prep more than for 1 person. Keeps smells to a minimum since the lid fits snugly. The bag gets held in place with a plastic retainer the size and shape of the container.

The choice of colors, fits in with the countertop. Love the lid feature, can hang on the side if I need to add multiple scraps. Also like the way rim holds the biodegradable bags in place.

The lid that opens on either side is really convenient. I like the size and look of this and the fact it has an inner removable container makes it easier to keep clean. We produce lot of veg scraps bc we cook a lot of veggies. This is big enough so I only have to empty about once a week. Bit at same time fits snugly on kitchen counter.

Both of us love this thing. It’s an incredibly well thought out design, very flexible to locate where convenient yet out of the way, easy to load & unload, no smell & made with quality materials. We hung it with their hardware on the cabinet door under the sink & other than brushing against it occasionally with my knee, it’s 99% better than our previous Tupperware bowl on the kitchen counter. Highly recommended! The compostable bags WITH HANDLES that came with it are 100% better than the cheaper ones we bought WITHOUT HANDLES that can only be filled half way if you want to tie them. Wish we’d had bought this a year ago.

The hanger piece, handle, and rim piece all broke within a few months of heavy use (we fill it every 2 days or so) - but it still works and does a decent job keeping compost smells hidden. Small enough to clean easily in the sink.

I love this little trash can! The design is sleek and attractive, making it a great addition to my kitchen. The size is perfect for placing on the countertop without taking up much space. It’s convenient to use and fits my needs perfectly. Highly recommend!

My old plastic compost bin was cracked & while I could get it replaced by the City free of charge, since I purchased the EKO Deluxe Sensor Trash Bin (which I love & already reviewed), I decided to get the EKO Compost Bin. I was a little concerned that the ‘clip’ to hang it on my old cabinet wouldn’t be wide enough because as you can see by photo the outside of cabinet is not flat & thicker than the newer cabinets. It fits with a little room to spare. I did add some tape because when I lift up the bin the clip comes off the cabinet. Secured clip with a little 3M tape & perfect. This comes with 30!!! handled compost EKO bags as well as a filter. Bonus! For reference the Costco bin liners fit it perfectly as well. I love that you can open it 2 different ways. So much nicer than my old, ugly compost bin. Thank you again EKO for another quality product. I’m sure I’ll be back for more lol.Update: The bin liners provided fit this perfectly but unfortunately from what I can find they are not compostable. We are required to use compostable bags in our municipality. Again the Costco ones work but if there were EKO ones that were compostable I would be buying them over the Costco ones even at the higher price. Please EKO, make these in a compostable line.

Personally, I think it’s overpriced. But it suits my needs. I wanted a small garbage bin that could be mounted inside my kitchen cabinet. I used the plastic adhesive provided to do this. So far so good it’s holding.

It's perfect - it is compact enough to fit under the sink or on the countertop, the removable basket is easy to clean and the dual lid opening is priceless. It's works well hooked on the cabinet doors too.I do recommend to use the liner to keep the basket clean, even if it means it has to be discarded after. If your municipality accepts compostable liners, use those instead! It's only unfortunate our municipality does not accept compostable liners.
