The planner is set out for weekly work. You can easily draw a line to shorten a period or extend another.I chose the floral cover, it is nice to have something cheerful on my desk amongst all the student work. Also, since the cover is sturdy, it holds up better in my backpack.There is a little marker that you can easily move for each week. This is good to have as it helps to open up to the week’s work with flipping a lot of pages.It is a good buy. I do recommend it.

If you’re like me and don’t trust the school district technology then this planner is for you! Aside from the regular grade keeper pages, this planner is perfect for high school and middle school teachers with multiple periods. It has a section for seating charts, a school year events calendar (which I used for meetings and scheduling my IEPs), and the best part is the weekly planner has plenty of lines to leave good notes, objective, etc. It’s a hardcover but lightweight, the design is pretty cool too. You can never go wrong with an Elan Teacher Planner!!

This planner will be a great fit! The covers are sturdy and the pages are good quality paper. As someone who mostly uses a physical grade book for checking off assignments instead of writing a score, the size of the boxes doesn’t bother me. Honestly, it seems about the same size as a generic grade book. The planning pages have plenty of room, but I prefer not to have the days pre-typed in case I choose to plan vertically. The year at a glance is a bit hard to read as well, but the boxes are just big enough that you could put the date and event just to clarify.All in all I’m excited to use and abuse this plan book. I think it will stand up to my usual 2 years of use and help reduce the time I spend searching my desk for my plans and gradebook. Never going generic softcover again!

I get one of these Elan teacher planners every year for the new school year. They are very durable and hold up well throughout the year and being jumbled around in my work bag. They’re spacious for notes and great for daily planning.
