I saw a Pinterest add for Lindsey Albanese hat clips, which are beautiful but wasn't sure I wanted to drop $50 - 70 on one, so I did a search on Amazon if I could find something similar. These aren't beautifully designed, but at this price, you can afford to get a few in different colors.These are made from a sturdy elastic band. All the stitching looks really well done. They have really strong clips that you pop open and inside there's plastic with serrated edges that clamp your hat or gloves into place. I clip my straw hats onto my beach bag so they don't fly away. Also got a black one for my husband to clip onto his backpack for his baseball caps when he travels.It's one of those things you didn't think you needed, but works really well and easily has become one of my travel essentials.

This item works well & is versatile too. I have a new dress that is a loose shift style. It hangs straight with no belt to gather it in. I bought this clip to gather in the back of my dress at the waistline. The clips are secure, the elastic works perfectly, and it looks much better than wearing a belt.

Used for our beach hats, if you leave on too long it does leave a little intention but goes away with some time. Still a good buy for travel.

I used this to secure my hat to my backpack while on the rides at Disneyland. It worked perfectly. I put it though the back of the hat and the loop on my bag. I double clipped the product to itself and it was extremely secure. I liked the fact that it was a small enough strap to easily put into my backpack. I would recommend this product.

When I got this I was a little skeptical because it seemed small and simple, but it was perfect. I carried my large hat all over a week’s vacation clipped to my backpack. The clip was sturdy and didn’t mark up my bag or my hat at all.

We repurposed this to be a sideways suspender for grandma. The clips are too hard for her to open, at 93, she is fighting for her independence every day and this isn't necessarily helping. But, it was the first one purchased for her, so it was a start. We know where to go from here. Maybe she can put it on something she doesn't wear much. Other than that, it seems sturdy, looks nice. Would work well for what it is intended.
