The tail cord on my horse's turnout blanket broke and got this as a replacement. Works even better than the original because it has a plastic sheath that can be wiped down when needed. Definitely will order more!

the shipper wrapped it bent and too tight so it warped and ruined the plastic coating - good product, dumb shipping.

Fantastic idea! For years I've been fed up with fillet strings getting mucky and inevitably getting stiff with dried muck/poo. I tried these on a whim a couple of years ago and I've since converted all my rugs (which have the right attachments) with these fillet strings.They are basically a stretchy fillet string rope with a plastic tube round it. So easy to wipe clean and clip onto the rug D rings (or something similar).Highly recommend!I go for the smallest size with my 14.2hh Connemara x Thoroughbred mare who wears 6ft rugs.

Hate fabric fillet strings as they always get poo stuck on them! Not nice. Having a plastic tubing cover over the string enables one to clean it very easily without having to wash it every time.

Does what it says. Perfect replacement for broken fillet strap on my Hosewear Rhino turnout rug. It's plastic covered so species too.
