Great trackball. Use it for both work and personal laptop. Long battery life. Going on month 2 with first battery using every day for at least 8 hours a day. Highly recommend.

I have several trackball mice. Newer models need to be charged with USB cable. I think I prefer trackballs like this that only require 1 AA battery and the battery lasts a long time. Not perfect but highly useful.

After about 10 minutes of fiddling I got the installation figured out and it went together in about two minutes. The action is some what smoother but a tad slower. For anyone familiar with folding knives it is like the difference between a PB bushing and ceramic bearing action. Both are good but the roller bearings feel a little bit crisper. I'm leaving them in for now and will update if necessary.One day after installing them I took them out and put the bearings back in. Much prefer the looser feel of the originals.

Elecom makes some really great trackballs, and this is what I feel is from their entry-level department. It has a single “comfort” angle in place along with an easy to remove mouse ball. It supports a dongle (storable in the mouse yes!) and works fine. It uses double AA for battery power. Has a slightly larger mouse ball which is supposed to make it easier to move across screens (completely baseless claim) but may help larger hands.Here are the problems: no secondary set of side buttons, no way to switch DPI settings, swappable bearings that aren’t included, no left/right tilt on the scroll wheel, a rubberized and sluggish scroll wheel that is non-responsive sporadically in web pages, slightly larger 36mm mouse ball which means it’s not compatible with anything else out there, and not good at all for small movements because it jumps too much. This is a my-first-trackball situation, and unless it is really on sale I don’t see you using this for very long.

This has to be one of the most comfortable rollerballs I have ever used. The buttons are perfect under my hand and it's nice and smooth. Plug and play so there is zero set up. Highly recommend.

I like the thumb wheel, so did my wrist. The side buttons didn't work at all for what I was doing (AutoCAD). I need gaming mouse control of at least 2 side buttons that I can program to do my bidding. Without them, I'm dead in the water.

Pros:-wired-replaceable bearings-rolls fantasticCons:-not enough buttons-too smallDue to the small size I felt strain in my hand, ended up going back to my wired Microsoft Trackball Optical which supports the whole hand with its longer case, much more ergonomic to use for anything over 15 minutes. I need more buttons that I can program to ENTER and SHIFT+ R_CLICK, something that I just can't do without.However, I would not hesitate to buy the next version if these features are added because the trackball part is excellent.

２か月ほど使用してみた結論として、初めてトラックボールマウスユーザーにおすすめできる製品だと思います。この製品はデザイン性と快適な操作性が両立しており、狭いデスク環境でも手首への負担が少なく、安定した動作が実感できる一品です。多少のクリック音があるものの、機能面やカスタマイズ性で十分に補える魅力的なアイテムと言えるでしょう。良い点デザインの統一感：白とグレーのカラーリングは、黒以外のインテリアで統一したい人にもマッチします。トラックボールの中でこのカラーリングは高価なものではケンジントンがあると思いますが、この価格帯ではロジクールと選択というところと思います。極小デスクでも快適操作：トラックボール全般に言えますが、、デバイス自体を移動させる必要がないため、奥行40センチ程度のデスクを使用する私のようなユーザーでも十分に操作が可能です。カスタマイズ機能：付属のソフトウェアを利用して、各ボタンにキー割り当てが可能で、自分好みのショートカット操作が実現できます。CtrlキーやWindowキーなどを割り当ててマウスを持ちながらでもショートカットへのアクセスをしやすくすることもできます。安定した動作：購入後2か月ほど使用していますが、トラックボールマウスの使用レビューでよく見かけるゴミ詰まるなどといったこともないです。他トラックボールマウスとの比較はできていませんが、ベアリングを採用している本製品ならではなのかと思います。電池の持ちがいい：2か月ほどでは全く切れる気配はないです。あと、長時間使用していないとスリープ状態のようになって、ボールを動かしてもカーソルは動かない、といったことがあります。これは電池持ちがいいという面では良いですが、スリープからの復帰が遅いという点ではストレスになることもあり、悪い点かもしれません。悪い点クリック音の大きさ：静音タイプではないため、クリック時の音が比較的高めで大きいので、静かな環境では気になる人もいるかもしれません。ベアリング作動音：通常のトラックボールと比べると、ベアリングが動作している際の音がゴロゴロ・カラカラとしっかりと聞こえます。他トラックボールからの乗り換えだと気になる人がいるかもしれません。

ボールの滑りが良く、若干引っかかっても気にならない。動かすたびゴロゴロ鳴るため、音は大きめ。だがそれが良い。一点、Bluetooth接続の問題か、十数分に一度、ボールを転がしても反応しない時がある。これはクリックしたりボールをグリグリすると動くようになる。ただ、使用してから約８ヶ月くらいでベアリングの隙間に手垢が溜まって、それが滑り止めになって、とにかくボールが転がしづらい。こうなると引っかかった時に強く押さないと動かせない。ベアリング部分を掃除しようにもパールのように気軽に拭き取れず、。使い続けると滑りづらくなるのはどのトラックボールにも共通することだが、ほぼノーメンテで半年も持ったのは、この製品の実力だと感じる。また、本商品はベアリング部分のみ取り外し可能なので、超音波洗浄機を買ってみて洗浄しようかと思う。うまくいかなかったらベアリングの交換品を買えば良いだろう。
