It's a great fit for Logitech's MX Ergo and MX 570, of which I have both. I bought this ball at the same time I bought a stock MX Ergo ball, because I read reviews that this fit and I was curious for a fair and direct comparison with a non-damaged ball.I hesistate to say it's better than the balls in those mice, because they're all a little different, but I love this one the most. The grey ball in the MX Ergo is the most tactile, the heaviest, and has the most friction. The blue ball in the MX 570 has less grit to it's surface and is more glossy that the grey Ergo ball, but it's ever so a teen tiny intsy wintsy slightly little bit "lumpy" in a uniform way -- somewhat like a golfball --, so it still gives a more subtle tactile feel. The blue ball is also a gram or two lighter than the grey one.The Red Elecom ball is just a tad heavier than the 570 ball (I didn't actually put them on a scale, so my perception could be off), so it's light, but has a little more momentum. It's about a literal hair less in diameter than the logi balls, so it's not as snug, but not at all loose. It's also slick and smooth as perfect glass. It has almost no friction and at first I thought it was sticking in the socket and my finger was just sliding across the surface of the ball. It's like butter, which is something I thought I wouldn't like, since I love tactile feedback for most things.But, it turns out I love it. It moves so easily that it's less fatiguing and just the feedback from the muscles in my thumb is enough; I realize now that I found the logi ball's tactileness slightly annoying or distracting. This ball moves my mouse one step closer to being an extension of my body.It has me curious to try out an Elecom mouse. I am concerned I won't like their thumb trackball mice because the angle is too mild, but maybe I'll try out the finger trackball mouse. I will still consider the thumb one, if it turns out I prefer that. The low refresh rate on the Logi mouse is not ideal. I do find the MX Ergo perfectly comfortable, thought slightly lacking in features for it's cost, so it might be hard to change to something that turns out to be less comfortable.

I bought logitech mx ergo. It was with original grey ball, but I always wanted a trackball mouse with red one. So I decided to buy this elecom replacement 34mm ball.It's a little bit smaller that original one, feels a bit looser. Size comparison at the pics. But it's totally ok, works great and looks awesome.

Picked this up as a replacement for a Logitech thumb ball mouse. It was a perfect replacement and was smooth as glass. A perfect sphere, with no issues, performs wonderfully for 8 hour days.

This trackball replacement provides accurate, skip-free movement. Designed for use with the thumb, it is comfortable and provides good traction. The only down-side is that it is a separate purchase.

This ball is the exact and correct size for the original Elecom mouse ball of my Elecom EX-G mouse.. It has resolved all of my sensitivity problems and reaction time complaints concerning this lovely mouse. I actually looked in to some discussions concerning different color balls in trackball mice before purchasing and find they are very correct when it comes to color.. If you need an accurate mouse... use a red ball.. If this does not matter to you then use what you like. the original Elecom silvery grey ball may look nice, but it is waaaaaaaaay toooooo inaccurate and overly sensitive.Red - Purple - Grey - Blue is the list from most accurate to least accurate..

I managed to put a pit in the trackball that came with my Logitech MX Ergo mouse, and it kept getting hung up on the rollers inside the mouse and was basically driving me bonkers. I decided to try the ELECOM replacement trackball before shelling out $100 to replace an otherwise working mouse. It fit's perfectly and actually seems roll more smoothly than the factory trackball.

I have a Logitech MX-Ergo. This ball is a perfect drop-in replacemant for the stock one. And.... it looks amazing. I bought it because I wanted to mach my trackball with my Lenovo's black-red color scheme, but this really livens up the look of my desk and it's very high quality, as good or even better as the stock one!!!

Great replacement product & a nice way to add red to the MX Ergo. However it sticks when idle, hence the 1-star removal. Keep in mind, this product is sold by Elecom and not Logitech, so YMMV - this is speaking purely from a Logitech user's experience.In my use when the mouse idled for ~5 minutes, the trackball was a bit sticky and would take a few turns before getting back to regular smooth motion. I even cleaned the bearings before using the replacement trackball and still experienced the same phenomenon. Otherwise under normal regular use, this ELECOM replacement trackball is very smooth - but the idling stickiness spurred me to return this item.All that said, #trackballmasterrace ;)

J’ai commander cette boule de remplacement pour avoir la couleurs des lumières de mon ordi. J’avais une trackball de Logitech bleu. Et bizarrement ma trackball fonctionne mieux avec la rouge. Donc si vous avez parfois des problèmes avec le pointeur qui bouge pas gâter vous!

Received if rather quickly, as an emergency replacement to the old dinged gray trackball on my MX Ergo.I chose the Elecom red as it's the stereotypical colour when people think of about trackballs.It never disappointed. So smooth, round, and in that perfect slightly glittery gloss red, that fits in the 34mm hole on my Ergo. Feels so good gliding my thumbs over the new ball. I swear, it even tracks better than the default Logitech ball.10/10 will buy and glide my thumbs over it any time.
