It's the second time buying this tunning peg and managed to replace the broken one disregarding it's a cheap bass set ($62 on 2019). If you are using for a non Fender size bass it might fit also, just screw on small steps until done. I want to make clear I'm replacing the factory ones on both buys, so far working pretty good

Descent quality for the price... it just didn't fit my guitar so I returned it. Bummer

These work great... If you lube them correctly, and break them in. For only a few bucks, these are great, but you need to put a little bit of elbow grease into it, this thing was borderline unusable out of the box, but once I installed it and dousted it in diluted gear oil and a little WD-40, it works fairly well

You get what you pay for, notice in picture the center space is not straight. Also hole for screws do not line up. Total waste of money should have known.

I recently broke one of the tuning machines on my MIM Player precision bass. Rather than replace the whole set, I elected to buy this single tuner as a temporary solution.It does what it says on the tin: it looks fine and it holds a tune. The shaft fits the MIM Player tuner bushing perfectly. That said, the screw pattern is different from the Player Series, which required me to fill the old holes and drill new ones. Second, the shaft that holds the clover is slightly longer (maybe 5 mm) than the Player tuners. Realistically, I will likely never notice that difference, but it’s there.

Bought this to replace one on a Squier that was rattling. It drove me nuts. Like having a tambourine on the headstock. Great price. Popped in easily but the holes weren’t perfect.It’s held in by two screws but it works like a charm.
