I bought this product because it has a larger motor than most of the coffee grinders at this price. I use mine for grinding herbs and spices and it gets frequent use. I have only used it once but it worked great. It is loud just like all other grinders. It turns on with a button on the lid. The lid fits loosely so be careful when moving the grinder from place to place. I really like that there are four blades for grinding. It makes for quick work for whatever you are grinding. It came quickly and was packaged well. I recommend this product.

This grinder works - but leaves a lot of very small pellets that will not grind to powder. I've tried several small grinders, including the Magic Bullet and my coffee grinder. Nothing that small will grind the peas completely. And all of those grind the same - leaving behind a lot of pellets that are simply unpleasant to crunch on when eating what you made with the "powder".So don't "rush" to purchase this product, thinking it will make "perfect powder" - it will not. If you do not have another grinder, this will work...To get a high quality powder requires an expensive - over $200 - grinder, and there is one that's not an industrial type. It's made for the kitchen and cleans easily - they say.So if you are looking for nothing but fine powder after grinding, this is not the product for you.

Dont waste your money buy a coffee grinder at least for me it wouldn't grind up macadamia nuts but my other grinder did no problem that's a yabano blender combo coffee grinder

This little ginder works fantastic. I have used it to grind nuts, seeds and beans. Haven't had any issues. It's also easy to clean!
