This lead melting pot has been a great addition to my workshop.The separate pot and the power switch located on the cord make it easy and safe to use, keeping my hands away from the heat. The pot heats quickly and evenly, and I’ve had no issues melting lead or other metals like tin and zinc.It’s super efficient and easy to handle. Highly recommend!

The smelter only worked for a month, a wire shorted out and burned up to the point it would not turn on. The item was not moved and stayed in the same spot so nothing I did caused the issue. It was not used daily maybe once a week so it had minimal use and still messed up. When I went to return the item they have charged me $11.20 in damage fees, which they say happens when it is not returned in normal conditions so I am unable to get the full refund for something that did not even work a month. I don't see how you can return something in original condition when their product malfunctions from no fault of myself.

Nice solid pot and good size. It heats up a little slower than I would like. Switch being inline is a plus so I don't have to get near the base to shut it off.

This is the sturdiest melting pot I’ve ever used! The stainless steel base is rock solid, and the cast iron pot with a wooden handle feels durable and well-made. I’ve been melting lead and zinc without any issues, and the temperature-resistant power cord is a great feature. This product definitely has a longer service life compared to others I’ve tried.

I've been using this melting pot to melt lead for my projects, and it works like a charm. It heats up incredibly fast, reaching up to 900℉, making the melting process super efficient. The large vent holes really help with heat dissipation, and I love that the power cord supports higher power—definitely a well-designed product!

The first time it was in good working condition and when I used it again it made a buzzing sound and will never heat up again.

Seems like a relatively well made unit, sadly the nuts/bolts securing the heating element came loose during transport and the unit is riveted together. Only option to repair it is drill out the rivets. Will make the needed repair and update review after using the item for it's intended purpose.
