I got this for my 5 year old for Christmas. At first glance I was like this could be good. It all came self contained in the station. But we had thrown away the box and apparently that's where the instructions are so I looked at it on the listing and was able to figure it out. Honestly it wasn't that hard once I started. It doesn't exactly lay flat but the train ran on it no problem. I couldn't figure out where all the stickers went but not that big a deal. It's super cute, I didn't find it all that loud and it was easy enough for my 3yo to run let alone my 5yo. However, that convenient storage case? Yeah I can't get it all to fit back in there very well. I managed but it's a pain. Also it's held together but little clips that just pop right off. Super easy to lose if it's little kids. A hinge would have been better. The on/off button (which is just pressing the smoke stack) keeps getting stuck in the on position so I have to get the train off the track while it's running to mess with it. Not fun. It's also kind of boring after awhile. The train just goes in one loop over and over. It doesn't run without the track. Idk. For $20 I'm not mad but it's not a fan favorite.

My nephew loves trucks and cars and trains and this train set was perfect for him. It is very fun and gives him hours of playtime. He really enjoys playing on his own or with his cousins with this train set. The train said itself is very durable and a great quality and it's perfect for him and his age. It is quite a nice train set for the value so I'm happy with it.

i bought this toy for my nephew for his birthday. he loved the bright colors and playing with the tracks. its very fun to see him build the tracks and make his own little village with the trees and signs, really like a small world! it keeps him busy for long time, which is nice. i think the storage box idea is smart, all pieces can go inside, no mess everywhere.pros:very good for creative playeasy to store and clean up after playlots of accessories for imaginationcons: sometimes pieces not fit well together. the bridge is little tricky for small kids to fix alone. also, it takes time to build full track.overall, it’s fun toy but need little patience. i think maybe better for 3+ instead of 2 yrs. still good gift for birthdays or xmas.

This set has a lot of individual toys and features. It is small enough to set up in a smaller play area but large enough for children to play with and enjoy. Well made and a great gift idea
