I love the light. Its a great mix of modern/traditional… transitional style. The black rods look modern, the shade looks traditional. It’s installed on and angled ceiling, provides intimate, cozy lighting and love it’s linear shape to go with my long rectangular table. The lamp shades have a seam that I positioned toward the corner of the room. I used all 4 extension rods because I have tall ceilings. Lighting should be 30-36 inches above a dinning table. With all the extension rods this light hangs a little low at 27 inches above table, but I like it lower. It feels like we are at a restaurant, very cozy lighting that’s dim-able.Instructions are ok, but could be better. I personally need step by step instructions, if you are intuitive, you should be fine using the instructions.What I wish the instructions included is to take off the rounded center piece to access the nuts to screw in the arms. Also pay attention to the male and female ends of the extension rods, feed one rod through at a time. The extension rods have threads you can remove if needed.Overall I love the light. Good value!One thing I wish the lights had were diffusers on the bottom of the light. When sitting at the table, I can see the lightbulbs. I might find some circular clouded plastic to insert in the bottom to diffuse the light.

While I cannot comment on the level of difficulty installing the light to the ceiling as my contractor did that, the instructions to assemble it from the box before installation were a bit confusing. You do have to be careful assembling the shades. I was nervous it’d be crinkled from shipping or that I’d bend it during assembly but it was okay. This light is really really beautiful and simple(my style). The amount of light that it puts off is perfect. I have 8 foot ceilings and I used the second the shortest hanging rod to hang over the dining table.

This product was way too expensive for this, the shades are cheap AF, I could get over that but the metal is worse. It just is not worth the money or time it took to assemble. Comparable to reallly really bad 90s IKEA

This is a nice light that is easy to assemble. Only negative are the shades- do not like the noticeable trim where the shade snaps together.

The light shades have to be rolled and clipped- have clean hands and handle each one carefully - seemed tricky but the shape did turn out.Not a fan of the thick seam.The light is pretty loose and moves easily.I’m keeping them because it matches the drum shades in the other 2 rooms - all 3 different brands but worked. Not a loud room statement, as I wanted.Little crooked but I’m not a perfectionist.

This is a beautiful addition to my home. The shades are beautiful and brass doesn't show finger prints. It was easy to instal. It is lighter weight than I expected but seems sturdy. It is just as pictured

this light was easy to install and works great in our dining room - it is dimmable and looks good. Not high end good but good. We don't have our table yet so will include pictures when it arrives. I would recommend getting this light for kitchen or dining room.
