Instructions
1.After cleaning the countertop (make sure there is no dust or grease), spray detergent water on the surface.
2.Cut and apply. After tearing off the base film, spray some water on the applying side of the PVC film and then stick it.
3.Slowly scrape off the water from the center to the outside multiple times and be careful not to leave any water residue.
4.Trim the edges. Use a utility knife to cut off the excess edges.Be careful not to damage the countertop.

This protective film is a non adhesive film, supposed to stick to any smooth surface, by just cleaning the surface and spraying it with water and then applying it on. It comes in a roll and has a sheet of plastic to one side, which we have to peel off, and peeling off was a little tricky. The actual film is thin, and is easy to cut and apply. However I installed it on a wooden surface so I didn’t spray any water on it, since I was afraid of the moisture on the wood turning into mold later. I just applied it after cleaning the surface and it stuck ok. Few parts of the film keep folding because of the air bubbles even after me trying to remove the majority of the air bubbles by smoothing it out several times. However the film looks nice after laying on the table top, makes it glossy and keeps the tabletop scratch free and also makes cleaning a breeze.

I am using this roll of thin transparent plastic to protect paintings and drawings my family has produced. The very thin plastic can be wrapped around sturdy paper, cardboard, and canvas in a manner similar to how a present is wrapped. It gives the art a finished appearance and keeps it from getting torn, stained, etc. The plastic is very easy to cut and to work with, although you do need to be careful because it attracts stray hair once the backing is removed!

This item does not stick to my vertical cabinet next to my stove. The cabinet is wood.It probably is great for other purposes, but I wanted to protect my new wood cabinetfrom grease and spatters. Now I have to figure out something else.
