The motion-sensing rv step light fixture offers exceptional sensitivity in low-light settings, thanks to its highly-sensitive PIR sensor that can detect human motion.
Once activated, the light automatically switches on when it senses human movement within a 10ft / 120° radius, and shuts off automatically after approximately 18 seconds when no motion is detected. This smart feature ensures optimal energy efficiency.

Warm Tips:
1. The light won't switch on if there is enough light in the area.
2. Never install the motion activated light near the damp areas or places with high temperature to ensure the tape work properly.
3. If lights cannot work, please ensure the batteries are installed properly and it is dark enough in the environment.

Bought these to install on the steps of our new travel trailer so my wife could see them at night and not trip. The instant on motion sensor comes on before she reaches the steps and lights the way, them after a few seconds it goes off. Perfect for what I wanted and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to light up by motion!

These suck! The magnets don't stay together so these constantly fall off. Plus, they are horrible at sensing motion. They simply do not work.

Living full time in a RV I was hoping this would be better than it was. I wanted better lighting for when I got home after dark. They were easy to install and the adhesion of the magnet that hold the light bar is fantastic. BUT the light bar gets kicked off the magnet often. Sometimes they do not light up, not sure if that it the contact with the battery or what. They are very bright and what I needed when they stay in place. Next time I would adhere them to the side of the step instead of the front of the step.

On our motorhome, it's very dark when you open the door and make the two steps into the coach. I found these step lights that are motion-activated and light-sensitive. If it's bright and plenty of light, these will not light up. However, if it's dark and the strip(s) sense motion, they will light up for about 15 seconds. These come with adhesive backing to mount them in the best spot for your needs. I placed ours just under the lips of our steps and they work great for us. Great product. Works perfectly for us. Enjoy!

I had expected a pretty low power step light, and was totally surprised at how bright these lights are. They light up much more than just the lower step. On a dark night they light up for quite a distance around. The motion sensor works well, but it takes longer than 15 seconds for the light to go out, probably closer to 30 seconds. No idea about battery life, but figure on getting some rechargeables to use. The battery cover looks to be pretty fragile, so changing batteries is best not something left to the ham-fisted. They don't come on when it's light out so the batteries don't run down too quickly.
