This is the cutest and greatest set to use. My husband suggested soft-boiled eggs as an alternative breakfast from the usual and heavier meals we are used to. I went looking for "little egg holders" and this popped up in my search. Oh my goodness!! The cups are gorgeous - love the design on them, the spoons are perfect, and the egg cracker is awesome and works perfectly!The seller actually contacted me to thank me for my purchase and even sent me videos on how to soft boil the eggs! How's that for customer service!!I started the egg(s) in cold water (no cover) and brought them to a rapid boil (then lowered the heat a bit). I tried several different time settings and found that exactly 2 minutes is perfect. Immediately immerse the egg(s) in cold water to stop the cooking. Put the egg(s) with the fat side up into the egg cups. We found that letting them sit in the cups for about 30-40 seconds, before cracking the top, actually sets the yolk perfectly. You can crack the eggs and peel the top part before serving to your family or really have fun and let everyone crack their own! So very simple and easy to use.I know a lot of people would say "just serve eggs in a bowl" but why make breakfast boring! Paired with fruit, maybe a Bloody Mary or other beverage, and you have an elegant but simple breakfast!The set is fantastic and would make a great bridal shower or housewarming gift. The price is perfect and I am so glad I found these!

I didn't know what to expect with the egg cracker portion...but it works perfectly and better than using a spoon to crack the eggs open. The spoons are super cute too.

This is a well made set, attractive and, more importantly, functional. As mentioned in other reviews, it comes neatly packaged in a case that is designed to hold the pieces in a well protected foam environment. I am not among those who think the pieces should be stored in the shipping case but, if that's your desire it's a very nice case indeed.I appreciated the seller's communications, making certain that I knew how to use the egg cracker and suggesting some egg cracking methodology. Oddly, these instructions were not included with the product itself. Nonetheless, egg cracking is not difficult. On my first attempt, I did as suggested, one light tap followed by 2 or 3 more taps (the ball on top is spring loaded; pulling up and releasing it will hit or tap the egg. The force of the hit is determined by how high you pull the ball before letting go). Trying the seller's method resulted in many cracks, not much better than tapping the side of the egg with a knife edge. I then tried one hard tap, pulling the ball all the way up and releasing. That method worked perfectly and has continued to work each time I have used it. I get a nice clean break, almost laser like, and the top is easily removed.The seller does state that all eggs are different and that you might need to adjust the force with which you hit the egg. So far, my eggs have all been pretty much the same and have succumbed to one quick, hard hit. Lucky, I guess.The cups themselves are very nice, the spoons are a perfect size and the cracker is small enough that it does not take up much room when stored. My only minor complaint about the set was that one of the spoons arrived bent, or should I say unbent in that it was much straighter than the other spoons and did not quite nestle when laid next to the other 3 spoons. A little force got it back in good enough shape.I like this product, it does what it says it will and it looks good. I also appreciate the seller's following up to make sure I had a good experience with it.Despite two minor flaws, a lack of included directions and a slightly bent spoon, this still gets 5 stars. It will heighten your egg enjoyment and would also make a very nice gift since it is so functional and nicely packaged.

Complete kit for anyone who enjoys sidt or medium boiled eggs. Easy to use tool to take off the tops of eggs. Spoons are just the right size, and the egg cups are sturdy and easy to clean. I love it so much, I bought one for my Dad!

Super cute but one of the egg cups came chipped, which is a bummer. I was eager to use the set so I decided not to return since I can’t return just one cup. The egg cracker works amazingly!

This is exactly what I’m looking for & I’ve made soft eggs a few times now. The egg cracker is an art (that I’m hoping to master!). It’s easier than using a knife to cut the top off. Timer seems accurate but you must pull eggs earlier than you like the yolk, as they continue cooking out of the water, until you eat them. I’d recommend this product & it came earlier than predicted. Well package- nothing broken.
