I recently purchased this mat for a winter car camping trip with family. I needed something thick, warm, and that would fit my one man tent. I am 6’4†tall and weigh 240lbs and this mat worked perfectly. It inflates itself, so set up is easy, just open the valves and wait for 5 minutes, done. Laying on it, the material is soft to the touch, it’s not rough and slick like some mats. I’m a side sleeper and adjust my body alot during the night, I didn’t touch the ground once. As far as warmth, the first night it was 28 degrees, second night was 45 degrees. At both temperatures I was very comfortable, I didn’t get cold nor did I get hot at a warmer temperature. Take down is just as simple with the valve design, open up the the first layer of the valve and roll it up. As you roll it up the air escapes, but when the pressure is released, it doesn’t allow air to enter back into the mat. The carry bag is great also, it’s actually oversized a bit which allows anyone with no effort at all to put it in the carry bag. I will be purchasing this mat again soon for other family members.

Took me a minute to figure out the valves, but after that this thing is super easy. Just open the top 2 one way valves all the way and allow this thing to puff up full. Then close and use. When rolling, open one way valves half way, roll to get most air out, then unroll, start with a nice tight roll and roll firmly to get the rest out. Rolls up reasonable small for how thick this thing is. Works great on my new cot when camping for 2 weeks. I think this thing will last a long time and should be well worth the money. Very well built, happy with the purchase, would recommend.

This has revolutionized my sleep while tent camping. I bought a cot and realized I’m a solids sleeper who needs lots of cushion. I have an air pad I use for backpacking, but that is so noisy when I rotate like a rotisserie chicken at night. This makes zero noise. The self inflating mechanism is rad. When it comes to deflation, I unroll and re-roll it 2 or 3 times to have it compress as much as possible. Even with that compression, it still folds up very large. It’s larger than my cots when put away.

I slept on this pad while using a 0 degrees sleeping bag. I was comfortable even though it was 12 degrees Fahrenheit. Seems to be a well constructed pad. I previously tried a lighter pad with my 0 degree bag and I could feel the cold. Having a winter rated pad like this for winter camping makes a huge difference. Worth the weight.

I'm at the age where tent camping is getting challenging, but I used this pad on my last camping trip and it was very comfortable and supportive. It held air well and was easy to inflate/deflate. It does take up a bit of packing room, but it's totally worth it.

Incredible comfort, especially on a cot, for such a thin pad. Tips though: this type of self-inflating pad relies on the internal foam expanding. If it has been compacted for a long time and in heat (garage in the summer), it will take a LONG time to expand. I had to leave both pads for 12 hours to fully expand after initially opening the packaging. It will happen, you just have to be patient. Oh, and read the instructions (I know that’s a sign of weakness for us men) because each inflation valve has two levels of plug. Ideally, unless used often you would store these not deflated and compacted. Alternatively, inflate and re-compact them a couple of days before your trip if they have been in storage for a while—then they’ll pop right up at your campsite. It’s a very high-quality product and I highly recommend it.Happy camping!

I love this sleeping pad. It’s definitely not for hiking as it’s bulky and heavy. However I’m now in my sixties and don’t do much hiking to camp anymore. But I do winter camp and this pad is extremely comfortable and warm.

Purchased for a long road trip camping with daily tent set up and taking down.Took a long time to step pump to inflate but once done good support and comfort.Deflating was easy and handy travel bag. Did get a hole by the end of the trip but it was over 50 days.

I purchased this instead of an extra bed for when my siblings children sleep over. They love it. I have slept on it and it is very comfortable and did not feel the floor under me even when side sleeping.

Inflate quickly. Stay inflated. Comfortable and firm. Do roll up pretty big but worth the space. My one son loves his so much he sleeps on it every night on his bedroom floor (partially due to his bed being covered in a LEGO village he made but he would rather sleep on this mat every night than move the village to the mat so that must say something about how comfortable it is. It’s been over a month and I haven’t had to reinflate it either. So turns out our camping maps are now used all of the time! Also great for sleep overs/movie nights/spare mattress in Mom and Dads room etc. very handy to have!
