This is a nice dimmer switch for the price point - and is simple to install. As others have mentioned the bottom switch is a bit counter-intuitive, but once you get the hang of it, it’s fine. It’s a true matte black and very attractive, it works well. Happy with this, and will be installing it in another room as well.

Its a nice looking dimmer switch that is easily installed, and does the job. I deduct one star only because it is slightly inconvenient in daily use.Neither the dimmer part nor the on/off part are quick and easy. I like to walk by a switch and give it a quick flick without really slowing down. The dimmer control requires you to come to a complete stop and give it some precision control. This is not an issue if you are likely to leave it at the same dimmer setting most of the time.But the on/off rocker switch is fairly stiff and takes more effort to push than I really like. It could be made a little softer and I would consider that an improvement.But these are minor complaints, and I will continue to buy them when I need a dimmer switch.

These dimmers were first appealing because they work with all modern bulb technology - incandescent, CFL, & LED. Second because this was the only place (Amazon) that I could find the quantities available for my needs. But, I ended up happily surprised by the way they look in person. I got the dark brown, and they look amazing with oil rubbed bronze wall plates. I recommend these for the price and the unexpected quality.Oh, and on the quality issue I had one in the order that was DOA. To ELEGRP's Customer service, well done! Based upon my on-line service ticket, I had a new switch in my hand the next day.

Switch is easy to install, same as others. Works ok, except: if you leave brightness on lowest setting and turn off light, the next time you turn on light it won’t light on. You have to toggle brightness slider up to get light. Doesn’t matter if you change tuning wheel settings. Also, the On/Off paddle is small and flush which makes very uncomfortable to turn on or off the light. Specially for people who visit your house and never used this light. On/Off paddle design and ability to turn on on your registered lowest setting in memory would be welcome. The plastic itself is matte and easy change color if you use some cleaning agents. Personally, I won’t buy a second one. Probably, will replace with another brand/ type.

All of my comments have been pointed out by others:- Rocker Switch:1. Requires an undue amount of force to actuate, and often ‘sticks’ in the partially on position;2. Has no tactile (eg. ridge, notch) or visual (eg. mark, printed text) indication of how to use the button;3. Makes an unnervingly loud “clickâ€.- Dimmer:1. Buzzes loudly when dimmed at all; increasing in loudness the more the switch is dimmed;2. Exhibits very limited useable dimming range; Even at maximum dimming, the lights are at >25% brightness.Bought one as a tester to replace all house switches. Hard pass. And honestly with these extreme functional quality concerns, will be steering clear of this brand in general for switches and fixtures.

Muy sencillo de instalar, de diseño práctico y elegante. Me gusta mucho que el switch sea independiente del regulador, asà siempre enciende en una intensidad establecida por uno.

Me encanto, funciona muy bien y el acabado negro es muy bonito, tiene buena regulación con un pequeño tope en la mitad para dejar todo a media luz, pero se puede ir bajando el regulad hasta llegar al casi apagado. Muy recomendable.

Es bueno el diseño del producto pero la intensidad que llega a bajar no es buena, es casi a 3 niveles de intensidad los que da en todo el rango de la barrita del dimmer (arriba, en medio y abajo)
