The Paint:

Love this one! Already received many amazed compliments! Agree with the comments about the hard to read numbers on some of the tiny areas but not a big deal to determine something that looked fine. The creases are annoying but try ironing before and you can also after it is done. (On youtube) Since I ordered just the canvas I glued it to a piece of cardboard that I lined with shipping tape. That made it very easy to work with. This helped with the creases as well. Yes I wish they would roll it but...I also took some liberties with finishing the eyes as it appeared she had glaucoma lol. That's the great part about these you can put your own creativity on your piece.

This was a fun and easy project. The numbers do get kind of small but that is to be expected considering the design. You will need to add additional coats of paint to lighter colors. Be gentle with the brushes, they aren't meant to last long even with proper care. I recommend purchasing a pack of cheap but better brushes. I did not realized my kit came with an easel. But it did not matter because it could not be put together. One of the wooden pieces did not have the holes drilled in it. Overall this was a good paint by numbers kit for a beginner with no artistic skills.

Took me less than a week of to finish. The paints are just the right viscosity and the majority of the colors cover the numbers, but the paint is plentiful so I just go over the lighter spots to perfect it. I gave it as a birthday present; he loves it. I look like a professional painter, but I can barely draw stick figures!! I will buy more from this seller (if I like the design).

This is my second one. Tedious but worth it. I bought my own brushes the smallest angle brush works great. Takes time and a steady hand and many coats and touch ups but I like it alot. Not so sure about the black background though, I will probably use white so it doesn't look uneven. Also there are super tiny numbers in spots I had to use my phone cam and zoom in. They also include a paper reference copy.

I got this for my daughter as a whimsy/extra gift for Christmas. She started it today, our first experience with oil paints and wow, how fun! I wish I had one to do it with her. I wanted to iron it before hand but after starting it, that won’t be necessary. It’s going to take some time but it looks just like her ragdoll cat and the paint is so pretty and will be worth all the time. It’s also stress relieving for sure. Great purchase!

This is a great kit. Printed canvas is easy to read. Looks like there will be enough paint & the numbers on the pots are easy to read. I bought this to do as a painting project with my 6yr old granddaughter. It comes with 3 small paintbrushes, but they are pretty awful - really low quality and the fibers fall out while painting, making a mess. We threw them away & used our water brushes.The canvas has deep wrinkles when you unfold it. I’ve hung it over the closet rod to get the wrinkles out before we begin. It’s been 3 days & the wrinkles have smoothed out about 80%. I like that there is a lined boarder which will be handy as a guide for framing.The one thing that surprised me is the background is not black. I am going to have to paint that, which is going to be a pain. I am going to need to get a wide brush to do that in a reasonable amount of time. I am not sure there is enough black paint in the kit. Fingers crossed. My mistake for assuming it would be black when I opened it.

I changed a few things as didn't like the odd eyes, whisker and butterfly colours. I have painted the background white as I think it 'pops' better.But all in all a lovely picture.My only complaint, folded canvas.

Simpler than other painting by numbers I've done before and not as many impossibly tiny things to paint. I switched out the background colour to a grey I bought because the black was too dark for me. Some of the paints vary in consistency and are more difficult to work with but that's been the case with all the ones I've done in the past. Really pretty overall

I really enjoyed doing this. It took a month doing a little bit every day but looks great.Only downsides are:1. It comes folded which is annoying as it should come rolled in a tube. Even after careful ironing not all the creases came out. Other reviewers have said this too.2. A few of the numbered sections don't have numbers in them so it's pot luck as to which colour to use. A case of having to keep looking at the small template picture zoomed in. But they are my only 2 criticisms.I've just ordered another painting I enjoyed the process 😊My final masterpiece is with this review!

Love these paint by numbers kits, like doing a fiddly jigsaw and looks amazing when you add the final piece. Handy little numbered pots too. Can't wait to finish it!
