As an owner of the Ruckus Bluetooth I’m excited for the QOL upgrades this Rumble version offers. I’ve abused the Ruckus to the point that I just recently tore an earbud after 2+ years which is how I stumbled upon these gems - because they have REPLACEABLE EAR BUDS! They are also interchangeable to match the preference/occasion. For me this justifies the higher price point, but wait there’s more. Here’s what I love about these:1. Did I mention replaceable/interchangeable earbuds?2. The sound quality is noticeably clearer and registers the bass much better which is probably due to having twice as many speakers in nearly the same amount of space (not twice as expensive though which is a definite plus).3. They hang on the ear so are less likely to catch on things or slide around when you’re working, leaning over and etc.4. Comes with alternate trimming pieces for customization/personalization.5. The volume/power button is raised making it easier to power on/off as well as adjust volume and answer calls etc.6. Durability. Full disclosure I’ve yet to use these anywhere near the same extent as I have my Ruckus but they feel familiar and if anything seem slightly hardier.7. Noise reduction. I can’t state enough how valuable it is to be able to block out the noise so as not to have to raise the volume of whatever you’re listening too in order to hear it, thus protecting your ears.8. Versatility. I use these for yard work, exercise, Zoom meetings, sleep (I work nights sometimes so need to sleep during the day and can’t even hear my four kids), shooting, and hands free phone calls.9. Battery life! 20hrs between charges, are you kidding me? This is incredible.10. The case is pretty swanky and big enough to easily accommodate. Here’s my concerns:1. Price. I think it’s crazy that I’m spending this much money on earbuds but when you look at the field, that’s just the world we live in and it’s across the board. So for me it comes down to what do I want for my money? I want quality, durability and longevity - Rumble hits all those marks for me (I mean, replaceable earbuds!) and are a good $20+ less expensive than anything else I would consider.2. The waterproofing cover for the charging port. Admittedly, I was skeptical about the Ruckus cover too but it’s held up just fine. This one feels slightly less durable though and is crowding the charging port slightly so I’m concerned it will eventually tear but it’s too soon to know, so I’m willing to concede Elign knows what they’re doing and it will hold up. 🤞Hopefully this is helpful to anyone looking into these and for those of us that already have the Ruckus, this is a no brainer upgrade. Enjoy!

There are many reasons I like this product. The battery life is fantastic, they are great at blocking out noise, and the microphone picks up my voice even in loud environments. I use these to listen to audiobooks while I'm sandblasting; which keeps me sane during long days. If a supplier calls, I don't even have to remove my blast helm, I answer the phone, and the supplier can hear me! There are a few issues with the product. My first pair would not charge (even with the supplied cord) and the left earbud would buzz like crazy. I registered the product and Elgin had a new pair delivered to my door in a few days! However, the new pair lasted a month before the left earbud stopped working. I didn't register it so I'll get another pair and hope for the best. Also, it would be nice to have the cord come with the proper "block" considering the price tag. I hope sturdier versions will come out!

These are great ! Sound is good and definitely blocks out exterior noise. Did I mention the battery lasted me all week playing music for at least 5 hours a day at work ??

This is my second pair after the first were replaced under a "warranty claim". The Elgin Bluetooth Earbuds are a complete letdown. After just 12 months of medium use, (typically when doing yard work - mow, edge and blow), I'm utterly disappointed with my purchase.Firstly, the build quality is ok, but not at all where it counts. The charging port is weak, small, fragile and feels awkward when connecting to charge. Each time I felt like I was about to break or bend the contacts in the charging port. Also, you can use just any charging cord. You must use the proprietary Elgin cord, which seems pretty stupid. Very poor durability at the charging port.Additionally, the silicone ear pieces were prone to falling off, and I eventually lost a couple of them, which of course are the ones that fit correctly. This flaw made the earbuds virtually unusable, until I order a pack of 6 on Amazon. Anybody need 4?The sound quality was nothing to brag about either, lacking the ability to suppress surrounding noise. I found my self wearing ear protection over the ear buds. Finally, and this is the reason for the negative review, is the electronic failure to operate as intended. The Bluetooth connectivity drops and reconnects constantly every 3 to 5 seconds. This is highly unreliable and there is not apparent reason for it at all.Elgin's customer support (email only) was simple, file a warranty claim. In conclusion, it's all disheartening considering the price I paid for these earbuds. Recommending you avoid the Elgin because of their poor durability, frequent earbud loss, mediocre sound quality, and shoddy Bluetooth performance. Save your money and look for a more reputable alternative instead. I regret purchasing these earbuds and wish I had chosen differently. Next!
