I’m not aware of anyone else making a DMX-controlled motor, other than theatrical systems starting in five figures. If you want to control direction and speed of your mirror ball(s) from your lighting board, this is your choice. The only real downside is that addressing uses a DIP switch. The person who left the one-star review below bought the wrong thing for what they were trying to do and couldn’t figure that out. If you know a DMX controlled mirror ball motor is what you need, you’re looking at the right thing. If you’re not sure what I mean by DMX, you’re probably looking for one of the other mirror ball motors which costs about half as much.

First this motor is expensive. It does not come with a remote. I was told to call the manufacture to purchase the time which was another $20 bucksTrying to use it now today for an upcoming event and the Motor does absolutely nothing to turn. There is nothing on the remote to state anything about turning the motor on for spinning slowly for the effects of light that we have shinning towards the disco ball. The seller needs to let me know what’s the issue with the motor😡😡
