We have owned percolators for years. My husband and I prefer them. This is the worst pot we have ever purchased. Upon opening the box the lid was so tight. It was very hard to get off the pot. The little percolator top was not strong enough to be a handle. Came off very easily. And was very hard to tighten onto the lid again. This morning as I poured my 1st cup of coffee, that percolator top fell into my cup. Very poor design!

We're never going back to drip coffee makers. The coffee is nice and hot, and makes delicious coffee. We love the fact that the water and coffee does not touch plastic. If you want a great cup of coffee, we highly recommend this product. It also brews quickly and the percolator can be unplugged and served to your guests at the table. I also love to watch the coffee pop up in the little glass knob at the top. No more BPA plastic coffee makers for us!!

Garbage and potentially dangerous. It kept popping circuit breakers. Then the clear plastic piece on top melted. Internally something is wrong with how it is wired. It's trying to pull too much electric current. It's not worth the fire risk. I threw mine in the trash. Complete waste of money as it didn't last a week. Because we were moving at the time and didn't use right away, I missed the 1-month return window.

Great coffee machine but cheaply made. The cap melted and will not stay on.

As others have written, this product is simply of poor quality. Within a couple of weeks of using it, the lid started to leak at the black ring that surrounds the transparent plastic bit during brewing. One morning, it finally came off altogether from the pressure of the percolating action, causing a geyser of hot coffee resulting in a big mess and some very minor (fortunately) burns. Please do not buy this coffee pot.

I like this coffee maker and would have given it 5 stars but the knob on the top came loose very shortly after I bought it and I had to super glue it back in. It's a bad design because the nob screws into the lid and there is a very thin amount of metal to hold it in. The lid is designed to counter the spring in the percolator basket so there is friction when you pull the lid off using the knob. Eventually that friction caused the metal to fail and I could not get the knob to stay on. This needs to be better designed so that the knob has a more solid connection with the lid so that the metal does not get stripped out or give way due to the friction. Otherwise it's a great coffee maker and I am glad I bought it.

Works great and I like how it does not take up so much space like others do. Had couple of months now and no issues to report. I would buy this again for gift, etc.

Although the percolator works well, we experience difficulty with the lid knob coming loose, not letting us easily remove the lid.
