I bought this toaster as a replacement for a decades old toaster that my family has had probably since the 1980s. For that reason, I may be biased in terms of quality because I'm just used to a crappy toaster. This toasted does a great job, though, and it's way lighter than I had anticipated. The slots are a little bit small in my opinion, but it hasn't posed a real issue for us. Very even toast, and it works really well. The first time I tried using it, it smoked and smelled like my toast was burning, so I freaked out and turned it off. Nothing seemed to be wrong and my toast was perfect. After that instance, no other unusual things have occured.

îI had just purchased a toaster but wasnt happy with how it kept burning toast no matter what setting it was on. I came accross this toaster that had better options and decent reviews. The price was reasonable so i thought i would try it. It has double the slots, which are widecenough for vagels, :better instructions, and better options. Even a warming rack. And it doesnt burn your food. This is a great toaster.

Just used this for the first time and I must say this is a great toaster! It fits 4 slices of bread or bagels well and toasts evenly throughout. I particularly love the bagel function that allows the correct side of the bread to be toasted. The pop up rack is also helpful with keeping toast warm.

This is just what it is sold as. A cheap toaster. If feel and look of quality means anything to you, you should step up. It is very small and lite wt. However it does make toast! The selection knob is with out a color marking but has a raised ridge so you operate by feel. My toaster came missing 2 of the slide protecting feet. Looked up warranty and it said missing parts are not covered. Plan to send it back where I bought it.

I wanted a toaster with lateral facing controls, levers on the sides, this one fits the requirements. Knob set at 4 (~2 minutes 40 seconds) toasted sliced bread just right. Like all toasters I'd used, the center facing side is a bit darker than the outside. Turn the knob and press the bagel button would switch on only the center heaters and add about 30 seconds toasting time. The crumb tray can be slid off completely to clean. I will find use for the rack later. I did a few dry runs to get rid of the "factory" smell before use. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the purchase. We'll see about longevity.
