I have played with it because I like my egg whites solid and yolk runny. I've added two teaspoon of water to the amount suggested for poached eggs and they are perfect for me. One complaint I have is the markings on the little measuring cup rub off. So I have measured out in Tablespoons what each mark is equal to and written them in the instruction book. Other than that the eggs are perfect every time... hard boiled eggs also are perfect. No difficulty peeling at all. be sure to poke a pin hole (pin attached to measuring cup) to the fat end of your egg before putting into the boiled egg cycle, hole up. followed the directions and they came out perfect. I was skeptical when I purchased it...but it was worth taking a risk on this little magic egg maker for the great poached eggs. Easy clean also. I have purchased one as a gift for a friend since buying mine and they love theirs also. I have not made an omelet with it yet.

This cute little egg cooker is my new favorite kitchen gadget. It cooks hard boiled eggs to perfection. No more standing over a pot of boiling water and hoping the egg turn out ok. It's cute and compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space. I am so happy with this purchase. I highly recommend it, you won't be sorry. Plus, you can clean it with a magic eraser sponge. Update: For soft boiled, it only works one layer at a time. With both layers, they don't cook enough. But it still works great and I love it! Way faster than boiling, less mess, and very little water needed!********It cooks the eggs how you like dependant on how much water you use. It comes with a pin on the bottom of the measuring cup for the water (that has levels for soft, hard, etc.) and it cooked mine perfectly! They were runny yokes with the white cooked. I only used one layer and I'm going to try it with the second layer next time to see if they cook evenly. So far, this is easy easier than boiling a whole pot of water and uses Way less water. Definitely recommend!

I love this egg maker. It makes perfect hard boiled eggs every time. And the eggs are very easy to peel. I haven't tried using it to make poached eggs or omelets .

Un aparato que de tan sencillo, es increÃble que no tuviera uno antes. Facilita demasiado la preparación de huevos cocidos/duros. Y tiene el plus de poder preparar omeletes sin grasa ni aceite, solo al vapor, lo cual además de hacerlo más sano, ayuda para tenerlo en un lugar de trabajo y poder preparar un almuerzo al momento sin tanta complicacion
