One of the reviews I read mentioned that it was difficult to put the kettle on it's base - that has not been not my experience. This kettle works exactly as other similar ones, you just set it over the base and it goes right on easily and with zero problems.One thing that is not too important (for me at least) but FYI - it is not an infinite selection of temperatures. The rotating dial might lead you to think this... The options are (in F°): 104°, 113°, 122°, 131°, 140°, 149°, 158°, 167°, 176°, 185°, 194°, 203°, 212° (using the dial) or 195°, 200°, and 205° using the preset temp button.In practice, here is how I use it: Press power on and the set temperature is always at the default 212°. Press the preset button and then turn the knob to select between 195°, 200°, or 205°. After you have selected one of these three preset temperatures, that is the default preset the next time and every time thereafter that you push this button unless you change it. So, after you have picked your preset temperature, you can just hit power on, hit preset once, then power again to start the kettle and away you go.Cool having the base show both the current temp and the set temp displayed at the same time so you can see status at a glance. There is also a little completion bar along the bottom that grows as it gets closer to full temp.Copper color / buttons are a bit bright/shiny but that is pure personal preference. The lid is plastic (the rest of the kettle is metal except for the handle for insulation) but it looks the same as the kettle and doesn't touch the water other than some condensation so having a plastic lid is definitely not an issue for me.Highly recommend if you are looking for a gooseneck kettle. I almost never buy the same thing twice, let alone give it as a gift, but this was an exception! I got it for my mom’s birthday because it’s truly awesome—heats up water incredibly fast and is so effective. I absolutely love its simplicity and the way it lights up while heating, which is a nice touch. If you’re looking for a quality item that’s affordable and reliable, I’d definitely recommend this!

This has been an absolute life saver for us. When making tea, ramen, or anything else we need boiling water for, this makes it so much easier. I've used it many times and well worth the money spent. Its easy to use a bottled water and plug it in. Only tales a few minutes to get it going and it shuts itself off once it's made it's boiling point. It needs to be on a flat steady surface or it will fall. I think a fun part for us is seeing the light come on when it's boiling. Makes it look so cool and so pretty. It does a great job working.

This is the third elec electric kettle I own. Love this Design over all else. Super sleek design love the blend of copper buttons and the lid and the handle, Super functional amd quality product at a very good price. Heat up pretty fast materials in durability appear to be great. I only headed 34 days, but loving it. 🥰

For tea drinkers, this is perfect for two! We only make tea late in the evening, more in winter months. Now there's no waiting for the kettle to boil as this takes seconds and just what we needed! It's perfect! And pretty!

I like the look of it . I got the black one. I can fit about 55oz in it. Heats fast. I like the rotating base i don't really like the spout as it doesn't come out in a good stream I keep making a mess but it's minor. I will figure out the correct pour position eventually lol I use it to heat ramen cups for my work thermos and for tea so far. Very pleased with my purchase. I wish I could make it a tad hotter but as far as I can tell that's not an option but it's not like I need to scald my throat lol I'd purchase it again but it appears to be great quality so hoping I won't need to for a long time

Shuts off, nice blue light. Night weight to it and feels like a quality kettle. We got this for our tea station upstairs and compliments the space well. Good size, not enormous and boils quietly. Good value.

Nice little kettle. Seems to boil quickly. Easy care and attractive enough. The only thing I do not care for is the base is plastic and very light. Other than that no complaints.
