My partner and I are a performing music duo and we rely on our iPad's for both rehearsal and performances. This holder works beautifully. It's nice and compact to carry in the gig bag, sets up very quickly and is very sturdy. As this is made totally of metal, there are no plastic parts that start to break when used frequently. You can easily adjust the angle of the iPad without having to loosen and tighten a screw and the iPad's stay where you adjust them without fail. No more drooping iPad in the middle of a song! It's easy to remove from the mic stand even with the iPad attached making for quick change overs between bands.We are using these with both the 11" iPad Pro and the 12" iPad Pro with no problems. We purchased one to see how well it would work as we have tried many different ones with mixed success. After one use we purchased the second one and expect many years before needing to replace these.

Upgrading to a 13†iPad Pro so I can read music/tabs from farther away. My existing clamp (corner to corner design) couldn’t accommodate the 13†screen. This one (side to side clamp) does it very well. Really nicely designed, pretty adjustable, and has a very high-quality feel to it. Really nice product. And, it’s a good value too.

Bought this to hold an iPad Pro. Attached very easily to the mic stand and held the iPad securely. Very flexible mounting options. Heavy duty construction and seems to be built to last. Would definitely recommend.

The only critique I have of this product is the turn screw stripped after multiple uses. Otherwise, this is VERY well built and gets used 3x a week or more. Travels well. I just throw it in the bag and go. Adjusts to ipad and iphone. Not too bulky.

I have a few tablet holders, but this is by far the best.I love that you can angle it in any direction up and down as well.It is very sturdy well built. I highly recommend it.

Update:The company replaced the defective holder at no charge. I have been using the new holder for the past few months and love it. I like the extension (gets the tablet closer to me). It clamps on to my ultimate support keyboard stand (some other tablet holders could not open wide enough). It is well worth the money since it is all metal.Original review:I like the concept of almost all metal. I like the longer stem to keep the tablet closer to the reader. I also like that the clamp opens over 1.5 inches to accommodate my ultimate support stand tube. I like the fact that the holder can screw on the top of a microphone stand without the use of the stem, because the first time I used the holder, the handle broke away from the screw. I cannot remove the clamp unless I use a pliers. I can use the holder as long as it’s clamped to the mic stand so I leave it clamped and screw on the holder to the stem. I may attempt to solder the handle back onto the screw.

I’m a full time working & gigging musician. For attaching an IPad mini to a mic stand for charts & lyrics, this is far and away the best unit. Beautifully engineered, inconspicuous, and heavy duty without being overtly heavy or bulky.I use an unusually heavy duty and thick Ultimate Microphone stand for its durability and stability, and even with the full 1 inch thick diameter pole, this unit attached quickly and tightly with room to spare,My IPad Min 4th generation has a black snap on cover and screen cover to keep it safe and less obvious with the black cover, and I do not have to remove it when I put it in the holder. The spring loading is plenty form in its grasp yet easy to install & remove. Perfect tension for an IPad Mini.I also appreciate that the flanges that grasp the tablet are not too overtly large. It is asthetic and pleasingly inconspicuous.The action of the unit is re-assuringly tight when pivoting the screen to my desired position. Everything is rock solid… no “play†at all. Has a very smooth, precise, “ball bearing†kind of feel to it.I doubt I will ever need to purchase another tablet holder again.Completely impressed. From a working musician, bravo, Elitehood.

Comes in a surprisingly small box, so it can pack up MUCH smaller than I would have expected. As others have mentioned, it's nearly 100% metal, and is incredibly sturdy. The rubber grippy sides are tall enough to easily accommodate the Logitech Folio Touch on an iPad Air, even with the keyboard on the back.The main HUGE plus with this stand, in addition to the build quality, is that you can truly position and orient it however you'd like. The lack of a thumbscrew to tighten the position of the swivel hinge worried me a bit, but now that I have it in hand, I'm not worried about it loosening over time.It's also surprisingly easy to load the tablet in. The clamp portions have a lip that extends underneath, which makes it easy to load and unload. Hard to describe, but it's even possible (if a little weird) to do it one handed.One slight negative:The clamp that goes onto the mic stand could be slightly wider, to make more contact with the mic stand tubing. It's nice and sturdy but it'd "feel" better if it was a bit wider. I'd be less worried about overtightening and deforming the mic stand. (Note: I'm not sure how "real" an issue this is; probably not at all.)Fantastic iPad holder though.UPDATE: In case anybody's curious, it'll hold a small MIDI keyboard / controller, such as the Donner DMK-25 (and probably a bunch of others like the small Akai units). The stand's clasps are deep enough that they'll get in the way of the keyboard keys, but because the pressure's good and they're rubberized, it's super easy to just adjust it a bit, and it doesn't feel like there's any risk of it sliding once you have it where you want it. I might end up with a 2nd so I can mount an iPad and a small keyboard for some midi stuff as well.

I love this, it’s so small and slick and looks super clean when I’m on stage. I love that it’s fully rotatable so I can have the iPad horizontal or vertical. Very sturdy when attached to the mic stand.

Ich verwende die Halterung, um mein Samsung-Tablet am Mikrofonständer anzubringen. Sie ist sehr stabil und hält das Gerät absolut sicher, auch bei etwas wilderen Auftritten. Gleichzeitig bietet der Schwenkarm genug Flexibilität, um einen passenden Winkel einzustellen.Ein preislich ähnliches Vorgänger-Modell fiel nach einiger Zeit auseinander, natürlich zwei Tage vor dem Auftritt, wodurch ich überhaupt erst auf diese Halterung gestoßen bin. Sie konnte mit Prime noch rechtzeitig geliefert werden und ist ihr Geld wert, das Material wirkt fest und hochwertig. Inzwischen besitze ich zwei dieser Halterungen, damit ich zwischen Proberaum und zuhause nicht immer an- und abschrauben muss.
