I have not played like i played after i got these stringed up in years. Just WOW. They sound beautiful. I payed for like 45 minutes straight, and i was in the zone like it i was on cocaine. They sounded THAT good.I prefer the lighter strings and the ease of playing them, but you loose a bit of the fullness of the sound with a lighter gauge. These 11-52's are pretty comfortable to play, and the nanoweb coating makes them very smooth and easier to play. They are bright, full, round, great sustain, and loud. Awesome Strings. Period. I am VERY Happy with them.I just can not get over the sound. I had a set of Martin 12-56's Phosphor Bronze on my Yamaha Acoustic before and i thought they sounded pretty darn good, but a little stiff and hard to play after playing my electrics most of the time. But these blow them away in sound and play-ability. I'm not saying Martin's are the best, but they're pretty good sounding, especially for the price. These are 3 times the price, but in my opinion, they just about sound 3 times as good.I read that a few people received sets that they believed to be fake. I grabbed my multi-meter and checked them when they arrived and the set i received did not cause the meter to read as "open". They do if you press really hard with the meter leads, but i don't think that is a totally accurate measure of legitimacy. If these are fakes, they are still worth the price, lol.I was hopeful because of the hype behind these, and since they are pretty dang spendy for a single set of strings. I hope that they last as long as they claim to last with the nanoweb coating. I just put them on like 2 hours ago. I had to write a review, just to share.I will totally buy these again, and i will be ordering a set for a buddy of mine. They are so nice that i have to share the beauty.I will update my review if anything changes.I really hope they last 3 times as long as a typically set, being 3 times the price. That is my only complaint.

I love these strings! I’m an older guitarist with sensitive hands. These strings are awesome, last for a long time ( if your not playing professional or many hours) in my opinion.They sound great!I have a dreadnought guitar and these strings seem to make it sing lol

These strings sound bright and snappy. I've got them on my Martin OMCPA3 and they don't lack any punch. Tonally they sound as good if not better than the Martin SP Lifespan Phosphor Bronze that came on the guitar. There is no doubt that these strings last long because of the coating that is on them.And this is where I think it comes down to personal preference. I feel the coating when I play the string. To me it feels a little "waxy." And while it doesn't stop me from playing my guitar and enjoying the sound of a really well made string. I probably won't use them again. They are worth the money for the longevity alone but there are other strings out there that have the same coating on them and have a different feel. So worth trying if you hunting for strings.Months later... I've finally worn out the Elixirs and really took them to their max. I was impressed with the long life. If your a studio musician or a pro you won't play them for 4 months like I did. I played these strings at least an hour a day almost everyday for the last four months. I replaced them with the D'Addario EXP16 Coated Phosphor strings. What is immediately clear is there is no initial waxy feeling to these strings like the Elixirs, HOWEVER, the EXPs lack the crisp 'new string' feeling we all love with a new set. The EXPs are not as bright or snappy as the Elixirs. I've play the EXP strings for at least a month and they have been consistent since I put them on. That is a little disappointing because I think they never had the bright crisp sound the Elixirs provided. I'm going to raise my rating from 3 to 4 stars, and wear out these EXPs as quickly as possible.

Put it on any guitar and I guarantee, your guitar will sound way better than you could ever imagine it could. It produces a sweet sound with increased ease of playability. Good low with perect balance of mids and highs. But, the delivery time(a month!) to India is almost a deal breaker. The price is very high, though it might not be an issue if you are up to it. Be very careful with the thickness of the plectrum you'll be using as the first string is a bit fragile. I won't recommend anything higher than 0.72 mm thinkness for strumming.

dure snaren, maar ik heb ze op mn gitaar gezet en ik wil eigenlijk geen andere meer omdat ik elke dag gitaar speel en ander elke 2 weken snaren moet vervangen... wat een gedoe! Met deze snaren kan ik 3 maanden ongeveer toe. Dan zijn ze toch niet duur meer. En ze klinken een beetje anders, dat wel, maar ik heb het ervoor over.

Gute Gitarrensaiten von einer bekannten Marke. Leider brach eine Saite beim Stimmen der Gitarre. Ich habe die Verpackung bereits weggeworfen, also kann ich die Ware nicht zurückgeben 😔Aber ich würde diese Saiten wieder kaufen, ich mochte den Klang dieser Saiten.Updated:Ich habe schon zum dritten oder vierten Mal genau diese Saiten hier bestellt – und das aus gutem Grund! Perfekter Klang, lange Haltbarkeit und ein tolles Spielgefühl.Schon die Verpackung zeigt, dass hier auf Qualität geachtet wird. Die Saiten fühlen sich beim ersten Aufziehen geschmeidig und angenehm an, ohne das typische "raue" Gefühl mancher anderer Marken.Ein weiterer Pluspunkt: extrem schnelle Lieferung! Ich habe die Saiten am Freitagabend bestellt – am Samstagabend hat sie der Kurier an meine Tür gebracht. So muss das sein!Wer einmal Elixir gespielt hat, weiß, warum so viele Gitarristen darauf schwören. Ich bleibe dabei und werde sie definitiv wieder hier bestellen!
