The company started out as a footwear company that specialized in lingerie and bedroom shoes for women. Over the years, as Halloween costumes began getting sexier, the demand for a sexy costume shoe to match the outfit inspired Ellie’s involvement in the Halloween industry. Halloween has opened up new opportunities and has given us a lot of exposure to a whole new community. It was by accident that these two industries collided, and it continues to be a force that grows our business today. However, the DNA of Ellie Shoes is still in the lingerie business, and we’ve recently signed a license agreement with Bettie Page, catering to the Rockabilly, Pin-Up, and Burlesque genres.

After reading ALL of the reviews, I wasn’t expecting a lot but I was pleasantly surprised. I need them for Halloween and they are perfect. I may wear some type of padding in bottoms but they are actually nice quality. Not something I’m wearing on a daily basis, just for costumes but they are cute. I have regular size calves but there is a good bit of extra room.

Incredibly beautiful shoes. Just incredibly wide with. I wear size 10 but also have I would consider a slightly narrow foot. So these shoes are so wide I can't wear for long without blisters. The calf is very wide also. So as beautiful as they are it's unfortunate that I can't wear for very long.

I bought these boots for a costume party. I could see how well constructed they were the moment I took them out of the box. It was really surprising because the cost was so low. They have a wide toe box so the sizing is generous. I normally take an eight and a half or nine but I ordered a size eight and they fit perfectly. I received lots of compliments on them and everyone wanted to know where they were purchased. There are great value for the money and I highly recommend them.

Im a tall plus size gal and with some elbow grease and patience got them on my 20in calves! They’re beautiful in person and pretty comfy but as others have commented on pretty slippery, it’s mostly the heel that feels slippery but easy fix if you get some grips from Walgreens or even on here. Inner feels like a suede, not supper sweaty feeling

So I’m gonna start out by saying I have big calves, they’re a circumference size of 17â€. I was super worried about these shoes since I need them for my 70s hippie One Punch Man cosplay for next year. They actually fit well the material has a slight give, not too much, to conform correctly to my calf. The height of the heel isn’t too high either, but with a few hours at a CON we’ll see lol. Also, sizing wise. I’m typically a 9.5 in shoes, so I went up to a 10, and that’s the best decision on picking your size. Even if it’s a little too big, you can put an insert for comfort. The shoes were definitely a good by and fit over a full bod Lycra spandex suit well without cutting off circulation.
