It's great when a piece of gear is made to last a lifetime. You'll never need to replace this holder. It's all metal, including the handle (which is often made of plastic on other models). The articulating joint has teeth so it will never slip, and this should have no problems supporting a modern light instrument. The adapter has both 1/4 and 3/5 ends for all sizes of equipment, and the price is right for this quality of gear. Most folks won't recognize the brand, but Emart has been making photographic brackets and gear for a while.

Great articulating joint for stands. These have a lot of variation options to them to get just the right sized connection and screw mount size. These work great to add articulation to basic stands. These are very sturdy all metal joints. They have tighteners for angle and connections on both ends so everything will be staying in place firmly. These look very professional and function perfectly.
