I was originally concerned about this products ability to hold up a paper backdrop since they’re heavier than fabric ones.It did very well and it was super easy and intuitive to set up!I like the carrying case that it came with.I imagine it wouldn’t be quite as stable for very wide backdrops but I got this to do animal photo shoots with and it’s perfect for that!I wish I would have bought this sooner :)

Surprisingly quick and simple to set up because there are so few pieces (they telescope instead of having to assemble a dozen different rods). Lightweight but not too flimsy. No sagging of the top bar, but we only had tyvek hanging from it; I'm unsure of how it would hold heavier material like a quilt or a large vinyl banner. The 4 spring clamp bungees that came with it made a huge difference in holding the backdrop flat and smooth. The only trouble we had is that the stands and side telescoping bars have no notches on them to help make sure they extend by equal distances or to prevent the top bar from swinging right/left on pivoting side bars, so it was a little difficult to get them (and the backdrop) straight. Once we got it set up, we decided to scoot it over a few feet. That threw everything off kilter, so we had to start over again making sure all was even. A measuring tape or level and a way to keep the side bars from pivoting would come in handy during setup. This could all actually be an advantage, though, if you're setting up on uneven ground because you can tweak it by the smallest increments in almost any direction. In the end, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it -- especially for the price.

The Pros...This is exactly what most have said, you'll be glad that you bought this. Its stability it good, better than I thought even with all of the good reviews. It's made well...For my needs, used in (non-professional) photographic ways, it's all that I need.It stores into the furnished small bag and is easy to tote. The Cons...The ONLY con(s) that I can think of is, the elastic may wear/stretch on the small straps after awhile, and, the teeny-tiny clamps that are attached to that are not very strong, I was SHOCKED at how taut I had it and it still held, but, I can foresee a time that it might not work correctly due to it's such a small clamp. What I will probably do, and I suggest that you do too, is, buy extra elastic-clamp straps for the future.Another thing that 'may' be trouble for you IF you use a paper type backdrop, or a cheap, thin one, these small metal clamps will more than likely rip it, I don't know for sure, but it is a small metal clamp, after all.(I'm not sure if this is even possible, but if they offer these black and orange plastic clamps, buy a few extra, make SURE that they are exactly like these though, they need to be able to fit (around) the top horizontal rod. I have other clamps, even made by this same company, they are not large enough, so be forewarned.(They supply extra wingnuts, so those are probably going to be the very first thing that you lose, and they knew it) :)Anyway, it's worth EVERY BIT the price, and made well enough that professionals could use it, IF they had to, of course.

Everything as listed was received. I inspected the contents and quality of my order, looking at them with low star-ratings/reviews in mind.My stands were good, nothing is missing or cracked. They adjust smoothly.People have complained of the crossbars getting stuck or not easily adjustable. I have not experienced any of those issues. Some complain of a raw/rough edges with the crossbars. Mine weren’t smooth, but at least they’re not sharp. So that’s good.According to the manual, it states the weight limit is 15lbs. I have only used muslin or vinyl backdrops, so I have no issues in regards to how much weight it can hold. The reason I gave 4 stars was because the carrying bag is advertised as a zippered case. The one I received is not. Mine is kind of like a roll with three long pockets; 2 pockets - one for each stand, and 1 pocket for the crossbars. Then there is a flap to cover the open end. And then you bring it together or roll it and is held together by Velcro. It does have a carrying handle. As you can see in my picture, the flap on my bag is ripped. It is evident it was torn because of the cross bars. I am okay with the tear since it’s small and I fixed it with duct tape. And I am mainly okay with that part being damaged because the thing I’m paying for, the stand, is whole and in working order. While the bag wasn’t as advertised, I like that mine had the different slots for the stands and bars, so they’re not banging against each other when transporting or stored. But again, in technicality, the bag was torn and not as advertised therefore only 4 stars although the real product itself is good so far.If I have any issues in the future, I will update my review to reflect that.

Sehr nützlicher Studioständer. Gute Qualität, leichter Auf- und Abbau. Gerne wieder.

I bought this to hold up a background so I could do pictures at my kids school for Christmas. It actually worked really perfect. It was easy to set up, easy to take down. It was very sturdy. I then proceeded to use it at home to take pictures with my own kids. I would definitely recommend it a with very handy, a very useful and it compacts down pretty easy for storage
