This was exactly what I needed. I was able to use it straight out of the box! I'm labeling bedroom shelves & drawers. Perfect helper! I learned that I need to apply pressure when selecting each letter, which creates clear labels! So easy, light weight & inexpensive!

It works as you would expect for old school. Something you will not have problems with. I suggest buying extra label rolls as they may not be available later on.

If you happen to remember what these were like back in the 60's or 70's when they were popular and everywhere, this has got to be the furthest thing away from such.It feels like nothing more than cheap crappy plastic.Squeeze too hard, and the imprint is unreadable.Would you like your labels to be straight and the letters in line? Forget it!This is just awful!

It does its job, but about a third of the letters are crooked or misaligned. Its legible but doesn’t look high quality.
