Unfortunately I can't speak to the longevity or ease of use, although it appears it would be easy to use. I bought these in case of emergency since we live in an area where we could lose power if a hurricane came through. I did want to comment that shipping was fast and the items arrived well packaged with no leaks.

Love these and have several in my emergency supplies. I gave them 4 stars only because of the odor. It is a little strong but when you light them they do not put out any odor.

I really appreciate having these candles handy, as we have power outages in the NE -- you need to be prepared. Temperatures dropped to well below zero for weeks at a time last winter.

I've only briefly "tested" one of these. As delivered, they don't provide a great amount of light. The Clear Globe cylindrical attachment helps disburse the light a bit and provides a wind guard for outdoor use. It fits, both, the 100 & 115 hour liquid candles. As others have, I found that this issue could be remedied by pulling the wick out an extra millimeter, or so. Go easy, the wick can't be pushed back in - only cut, if too long.Of course more light, undoubtedly, means considerably less burn time. Can't say how much burn time is diminished, but the "candle power" is increased.
