David has hit a home run with this radio. It’s small and easy to find due to bright orange color, and has at least 5 ways to charge. I especially like the flashlight, radio, and short-wave radio. It’s a valuable addition to our hurricane supplies. Living on the Gulf Coast, one must be ready for storms. I charged this radio up the day I received it. It works great. I found our one and only radio station and the reception is great. You can use a usb cord to charge your phone. A must have for readiness these days.

It’s has great reception. It’s well made. I love the idea that I can do solar power or cranking at or with batteries. It’s very nice for the price and I’m a new house so I listen to news a lot. It’s nice to carry around. Enjoy.

This radio really packs a punch. It has 4 bands of radio, AM, FM, NOAA and SW Short Wave all in the same untit. You can charge it by battery, USB, solar or hand crank. You can also charge your phone from it, if it has a charge itself. Has a built in light, too. Seems very well made and I'm happy with my purchase.

Purchased this back in August of 2023, and with the start of the spring storms, decided to do a check of the unit. Now, despite having used it several times since the purchase, I had not noticed the white corrosion leaking from under the battery cover.Once the cover was removed, I could see the corrosion had gone through the entire battery compartment, but the unit still worked. Cleaned it out as best I could and am still using it, but have to wonder if there was any internal damage that could shorten the life of the radio. Now, it is hard to say WHY there was corrosion in such a short timeframe, but I suspect one of two things:1) The lithium battery leaked while slowly discharging - didn't look like that though2) Having the radio near a window led to the solar panel constantly charging the lithium battery, which led to the alkaline batteries just sitting there providing charge, but the charge not going anywhere, so they began outgassing, which led the terminals to corrode. In either event, remove the alkaline batteries when not in use, and also remove the lithium battery and store that in the battery compartment (alkaline side) - which means that during an emergency you'll have to fumble with it before you can use it.
