I got this because I wanted to verify I wasn’t leaving behind some kind of Chernobyl reactor microwave when I sold my house. This device could benefit from a more recessed power button. It’s way too easy to turn on. Even through the included carrying pouch.

As soon as I received this tester, I put in a battery and attempted to get a reading. Nothing with it up and the unit seems dead.MAJOR JUNK

The paperwork states it comes with a battery which was not included. I could not use it until I purchased my own battery.

most people don't know how to use a microwave leak detector. They don't require a battery and if you don't get a reading on your oven then it probably ok. nothing is wrong with the leak detector
