Price was good. Easy to use easy to read. Functional good size so it’s not too bulky.

Seems to work well, has helped me diagnose a water leak in my walls

I have had this EMF tester for several months now and use it quite often to measure household items such as tv, computer monitors, microwave, and just about everything else I can use it on.Using this device has opened my eyes to the amount of exposure myself and my family have been in contact with through regular use of microwaves, and other electronic devices. Knowing the safe distance to stand while operating our microwave alone is reason alone to own one of these.I love the fact that this is very easy to use. I simply put a battery in and hit the power button and I was able to intuitive use the device and operate the functions through the self-explanatory buttons. The screen turns red when you are at dangerous levels of exposure, and will stay blue otherwise. The device does not feel cheap when holding and operating it, and I dropped it on our hard wood floors and no damage occurred to the unit. I retested it by holding it near our tv knowing the level it should be at.I have not used it outdoors yet, but plan to do so as soon as it warms up a bit here.Overall, I would highly recommend this EMF meter for its quality, ease of use, and knowing what potential hazards exist that you often encounter.

Similar to a NVC tester, just with specific readouts. Seems reliable in detecting EMF fields generated by eddie currents. It's nice it has a built-in battery, been used for a few hours without problems or needing recharge. Uses UCBC for charging. In terms of a testing tool it is able to detect static currents and emf fields correctly relatable to known objects. While technically possible to calculate values from this sensor into useable workloads it's too finicky to create a useable result. This is why most NVC tools don't have readouts on the voltages. The device has a polarity, twisting will cause different readouts based on emission device under test. This is expected but shows the sensor has a single pole antenna.Examples:Microwave (cooking appliance) reaction for e-fieldSingle voltage power wire (no grounding) for V/m at close proximity ( not a really valid test but can be useful)Motor field generation (high power motors running generates e-field)home AC electrical detection (circuit on/off with AC power though wall shows static for hot wires, e-field for active circuit)Other examples (not tested, but application):Can be used to determine safety within a transformer area with high voltage. Could be a warning device of potential arcs or static discharge. Similarly should be able to detect high voltage overhead powerlines.Tesla coil detectionYou can easily manipulate this by throwing around a magnet against the sensor -- this is NOT a static magnetic field detector. Waving a magnet will of course manipulate this device, that's for fake ghost hunting tricks. This will not tell you if you cellphone is bad or emitting too much.

Terrible reader all around. Doesn't appear to work correctly as they probably intended when making it. When turned on and scanning nearby electrical objects, it doesn't show sny reading half the time. The other half, it is extremely slow numbers are inconsistent, whereas it will eventually show the object has a low value, then suddenly real high, or vice-versa.I used a different emf reader to test it, put both by a small fan that was running. The other reader showed V/m and uT. This one showed 0 V/m uT was ok but took about 10-15s to show results. Was same situation on other objects asode from the random spikes. I also noticed when moving it around it shows high readings. The packaging wasn't taped or sealed and feels like some module inside is loose. From testing it appears defective. Did the seller re-sell a returned defective item?

The operating manual is not very clear and neither is the device itself.

I recently purchased this and it was delivered today. I like it but I had a question as to why the alarms would sound when scanning certain parts of my child's body. Tried it several times and the alarm sounded on a part of his leg. His arms where his main vein is and on his feet. He even laid all of his electronics down
