Installed in a couple of minutes still working so far on my 06 Chevy it’s located right on top of the motor remove the vortec cover and their it is one 8 mm bolt old one pop right out put the new in tighten it down and was back in business

Don't buy this or any automotive parts on Amazon, half the time the products are defective. Check engine light came on in May ran the code and replaced this part. Didn't fix the issue so I replaced the evap canaster. still did not correct the problem. Finally took the car into the dealer, they inspected the vehicle and said the part was stuck open and had a massive vacuum leak. The GE part costs $80 dollars. Purchase at your own risk. I'm done ordering automotive parts from amazon.
