I use these for an undercabinet lighting project and they were just what I needed to make the connections. I typically cut them in half and use them to connect the strips to the supply wires. Also, I use them where the strips need to change directions to give me a little more flexibility.

they have tiny screws that require a screwdriver about the size that is used to tighten down screws on eyeglasses. It would be much more convenient if they just hand a hinge that you could press closed that makes contact with the conductors. The upside to these is that they can be used more than once unlike the hinged variety. You can unscrew these and use them again if you want, so in that sense they are more convenient. If you are installing fcobs, which have a bare copper contact which is difficult to solder to then connectors like these are necessary

Maybe previous connectors were good but literally half the connectors I received were defective. The screws would not fully tighten causing the circuit to remain open.

These screw terminals work really well and save some time compared to soldering with similar reliability, once the technique is worked out. I used these for the connectors as well as some of the wire as an extension. It's a handy set, I wish there was the option for a few more connectors per pack.

I used these for making some return loops in an LED strip, these worked a lot better then the style that just crimps onto the ends of the LED strip.You can remove and reinstall these as needed to make things perfect, the crimp on ones are single use.If needed you can remove the included wire and add your own wire that is cut to the length you need.If you need a few inches or a few feet, you can make it just what you need.The included wires are a good length for making a loop back or a corner, not to long or too short.If you want to install an LED tape strip and make it look good, these are going to help that happen.

These connectors work flawlessly with the high-density 480LED/m 8mm LED ribbon I bought.
