So this is actually my second purchase of this crate pad. My first purchase was in 2023 and that crate pad is still working great and even still looks new. I ordered the second one for our new puppy. But seriously if you want an great crate pad that is washable and durable this is it. Not to mention the memory foam for your pup to snuggle in to:) Great purchase .....just order it you won't be sorry!

The dog egg crate foam is soft, but difficult to clean. Stains easily. The water proof lining is very poor quality. The stitching frayed away from the zipper the first washing. Overall the cover is definitely the best part. The warm side is very soft, the cool side is good. Not sure how cool it actually is, but my dog sleeps fine on it. The cover is easy to clean and so far has held up to 2 washings. Unfortunately my pup has had a bad couple nights requiring major crate clean up. I probably would purchase again if needed due to the fact that it fits perfect in my pup's crate.

This is a very good quality dog pad. It’s an excellent fit for my dog’s crate from Midwest crates. I love the faux fur cover and it has a satin like lining that covers the foam cushion. This is perfect for my dog. He really likes the comfort. He doesn’t hesitate to go in his crate when he’s tired or he just wants to get away from stuff. My dog has made the crate and this pad his “safe space or dog caveâ€!!! I purchased the29â€x18â€x3in foam/pad. My dog is a 7lb Bichon Frise puppy. His adult weight will not exceed 15lbs. I highly recommend this dog pad.

This bed is great. My puppy peed on it the day we got it and it was so easy to clean. It has a super easy removal for washing. All you have to do is unzip the bed and slide the inner (mattress) part out. To clean it, I just used a paper towel to wipe off the mattress and a little dawn to clean it just in case. For the cover, just put it in the wash. Very good product.My puppy seems to love it, she would find every way to get out of her crate while we were gone and since this bed has been in her crate, she has slept the whole time.I have a large crate and the size of the bed fit so well. The color isn’t super cute or pretty, but it hides slobber really well so I think it makes it look more clean.

I rarely write reviews but thought I should for this one, simply because I didn't realize there was this additional protection under the cover. I foster dogs, mostly puppies, and it takes awhile for them to understand you don't potty in the crate. I found this crate pad and thought I would try it because it has the different fabrics on each side for warmer and cooler temperatures. When I went to take the cover off to wash it, I was surprised to see this additional layer of protection. You can make your outside layer as waterproof as you want, but eventually the smells creep into the foam bedding. With this extra layer of protection, I believe the life of this bed will be a lot longer than any of the others I've purchased. Awesome idea ðŸ‘

Overall my dog loves this pad. As soon as she goes in the crate she lays right down and she’s asleep only a few minutes later. Comfortabability gets a 10! Where this product is lacking is the durability. The zipper broke on the outer lining very easily and when I looked on the website the company does not sell replacement covers without having to buy a whole new pad. Also, the logo on the is more of a vinyl sticker that’s placed on the mat. I immediately removed it because I knew it wouldn’t take long for my dog to pick at and eat it herself. I like this item, I just wish I could find a replacement cover.

It’s not the best orthopedic, but it’s certainly not the worst. I think 4 stars is just right for softness. The cover comes off easy to wash. After the cover is off, the mattress can be wiped, because it’s covered in a waterproof bag. I’d recommend buying if you are having trouble deciding or trying to decide between two. Note that we were able to fit this mat in a large dog crate (not cage).
