This is an excellent female 5-pin MIDI to TRS 3.5" MIDI Type-A connector. I had no issues connecting it to my Korg NTS-1, and it worked without issues. There are, of course, multiple standards of TRS MIDI, so you could run into issues with that, but if you research your device and find that it uses Type A, this should work to connect it to any standard MIDI cable or connector (like a USB to MIDI adapter). I have previously used BOSS 5-Pin to TRS cables, but they are relatively short and are just cables. These are both less expensive and allow you to run whatever length of MIDI cable you have available and wish to before adding this adapter to make the connection. There is an ample amount of cable distance for helping to make connections that just aren't quite long enough, but that can be easily left wound if unneeded. Overall, this is just what I needed, and very helpful for connecting smaller modern devices to whatever MIDI controller or sequencer you are using.

These fit my needs for connecting some of my newer Midi gear to my older stuff and are really reasonably priced. They're pretty skinny compared to the older 5 conductor cables (I guess they had 5 in there, 1 for each pin), so you have to wonder how they can do that, but more compactness is always welcome, so no complaints there as long as they hold up.Can't see anything to complain about and especially like that it's a 2 pack. 5 stars

Make sure you need the type A cables and you will be happy with these, they work great.

There's really not much to say about these besides they work great, seem to be reasonably well made, are a reasonable length for most applications, and are cost effective. Right now I'm using one of them on a Launchpad Pro, but with more and more devices opting for the mini TRS MIDI jacks, it's good to have a spare or two laying around because--you never know! Recommended.

Both these cables worked for me. I'm using these on different guitar, pedals and effects. For what you get. It's pretty good value. Both worked well with no issues out of the packaging for me
