Super easy setup!! Took less than 5 minutes. I’m using inside of a beehive to monitor temp and humidity. This is a empty hive before someone says something about the temperature.

The App required to run the device is obsolete and will not accept 5G Wi-Fi. Very disappointed!

I lost my deer meat a couple years ago due to a tripped breaker in my outdoor building. This year I have 3 deer in the freezer and didn't want to risk it again. This works great. Easy to use. No monthly fee. And I can randomly see the inside temp or just forget about it and set the alarm to notify me if the temperature goes above my setpoint. I highly recommend. Also, my router is in the house and my freezer is outdoor and the wifi still works.

I got this because it was free, and I figured if I could save a little money, why not give it a shot.Spoiler alert: I ended up just buying a three-pack of the Govee temp/hygrometers, which I much prefer.The reasons I didn't care for this one:1) The probe. Having a physical cord/probe is just a bit cumbersome in a snake enclosure, and I don't feel that the probe is accurately reading the temps and humidity like it should.Also, this one gives two readings, the one from wherever the device is and the one from the probe. Between that and the small screen, it made it hard to just glance at it and understand what I was seeing.2) The Wi-Fi and app. These might work for someone else who has regular Wi-Fi at their home, but I don't. I use my phone's data, and I'll turn on the Mobile Hotspot to use my computer, but that's it. I was hoping that I could connect the device to my phone's hotspot, but it wouldn't read that as a Wi-Fi, so it ended up being kind of useless because it couldn't connect to anything. That made the app itself just as useless, too.Also, when it can't connect to a Wi-Fi network, it just keeps trying to connect. So then that just drains the batteries even more.So all in all, if you're getting this for free, and if you have Wi-Fi, and if you don't necessarily need this for the health and safety of your reptiles or anything else, then sure, go for it, and hopefully it'll work better for you.But if you're going to spend any money, there are other inexpensive but reliable ones out there that I'd recommend over this one. This ended up just being a waste of batteries, unfortunately.

Only connects to WiFi and reporting temp and moisture when clicking on the top. Then is disconnected and do not even show last measured temp in the apps smart home, Alexa, google….

1)- Verbindungsprobleme mit Wi-Fi / WLAN.2)- keine Kalibriermöglichkeiten3)- keine statistische Aufzeichnung für Hygrometer4)- statistische Temperaturaufzeichnung nur im Rhythmus Stunden möglich, leider nicht in Minuten.5)- Das vergrößern / verkleinern in der App bei den statistischen Daten ist nicht möglich,macht auch wenig Sinn bei dieser Art von Darstellung / Dokumentation.Gerade die beiden letzten Gründe waren für mich ausschlaggebend das Gerät zurückzuschicken.Da liebe ich doch die vorbildliche App von "Govee", leider gibt es dort aber kein Thermometer mit abgesetzten Außensensor.

No installation possible via iPhone 13.What really annoys me that there are no hints in the installation manual or in the product description. Now I have to look for a new product. What a waste of time…
