This is a nice switch - don't get me wrong - but the one I got was NOT UL-rated (no listing shown on the box) and the ports are threaded European/Asian BSPP (also known as "G-thread"). Standard US NPT fittings won't fit without modification. What I did was to heat up a US 3/8 electrical fitting (1/2-inch NPT thread) with a hot air gun. The plastic housing of the switch became soft enough under the heat to reform to 1/2-inch NPT. You could also chase it with a 1/2-inch NPT tap, but there is some interference inside the switch box that limits a standard tap. Worked great for me and I'd be happy to buy it again if I have the need.

It's the only which box I could find that had a lever rather than the typical fuseless disconnect box for external appliances. It's a piece of plastic for over $50!!! The threads on the conduit ports are not U.S. standard 3/4 NPT so I literally had to ream out the threaded hole large enough to slide in a U.S. standard conduit fitting and file down several edges of the service box conduit nuts to fit into the box. I'm sure these are handy little boxes somewhere in the world for some electrical application, but WAY too expensive and WAY too much work for my application. Next time, I'll just skip this unnecessary code requirement.
