  • Durability is superior for cars, trucks and SUVs; road salt, oil, and a host of other common under car contaminants will eventually destroy the rubber bushings on your vehicles, not to mention the weight and torque forces that typically compress rubber
  • Hyper-Flex replacement polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting performance and not compress permanently
  • Hyper-Flex is offered in a variety of durometers (firmness or softness), depending on product application; performance tested and race proven; used for all of Energy Suspension products that require a higher level of performance and durability
  • If you are modifying, building a new vehicle for scratch or restoring an old one, Energy Suspension's Hyper-Flex performance polyurethane should be the 'ground zero' focus of your present and next vehicle plans
  • Over two decades of in-house experience in innovating, engineering and formulating wide selection of polyurethane components for many different industries, Energy Suspension has qualified as premier manufacturer of the high quality polyurethane products

I used this as a rear bump stop replacement for a 2000 Trans Am. You have 2 options to make this work, you can get a 1/2" x 1" x 6" long stock of aluminum and drill 2 holes as a spacer, or you can take your old bump top and cut the rubber down and use the remaining 1/2" base as a platform to mount this to. I went the aluminum route. I also originally planned on 2 spacers that way the factory height of the bump stop is maintained, but I also had lowering springs and found the extra 1/2" left only 1/2" of suspension movement. I believe the factory rubber had more give to them, so it may be optimal to use the 1/2" spacer rather than 1". Either way, this works great and so far with new suspension I have only experienced a bottoming out once and it was akin to a new car bottoming out, a soft bump on that side of the suspension for a split second, then everything was back to normal. This a vast improvement to bottoming out and hearing a loud thud.

Used on a custom welding trailer for suspension bump stops. I've used many products from this manufacturer for decades - everything has worked very well and holds up extremely well. Superior durability compared to rubber equivalents.Unaffected by oil, for example. I will continue to use these components where durability is required.

I bought these for my 98 Trans Am and they give the bird so much more confidence over bumps. Installation was simple, just unbolted the old ones, flattened the mounts with a pair of pliers, and these fit perfectly!I was worried that they may hit a bit to hard, as others had warned, but the rear doesn't bounce and there is no bang as there was before. I have no complaints after a month of use.

I bought this generic bump stop having read it can be made to fit on the rear of a 4th gen Camaro with some minor modifications to the car. The factory Z28 bump stops used to be around $35 each. They were discontinued for a while, and when they were brought back they were $85.Since my car isn't set up for racing of any kind and carries around 120 pounds of stereo gear in the trunk I figured I'd try these cheap generic polly bushings since my car is just a daily beater. Also my car has been lowered two inches so it hits the bump stops a lot on rough roads. After hacking off a bit of a un needed lip on the inner fender well these stops bolted right on, and so far seem to be working well, and while they are a little more harsh then the originals, it's not too bad.I'd still encourage anyone drag or road racing to go ahead and spend the extra on new factory stops though. Polly bump stops have just about no place on a serious handling car because they are almost always too harsh a hit and upset the chassis and shock the tires.

Used on 4th gen F-body. Way cheaper than the f—body specific bump stops. As others have said you just need to grind off the tabs so these will sit flush. You’ll see exactly what needs to happen when you pull off the old stops. 5 minutes with a cut off wheel, some paint or rust protection and then bolt on these bad boys.

Easy to install, undue 2 bolts, with 1/2” SAE socket. Removed the Original Rubber and replace with this Higher Quality Urethane Bump stop. This Rear Bump shows up for a Jeep, But it was the exact FIT for 1975 Lincoln Continental ( see photo!) .Measure your original Bump stops before ordering and compare the measurements to Catalog or Online,to be assured an exact fit, with Energy Suspension Polyurethane. Buying them on amazon.com is a good place for a delivered upgrade auto parts deal.
