Easy to set up and easy to use. However, it does not hold suction and just made a mess. I bought it to suction out the coolant from my over flow tank in my car, and it sucked up the fluid just fine but it does not hold. It immediately leaked out of the tube so as I raised it out of the tank, fluid was going everywhere. I didnt have much time to research so I relied on the reviews. I havent used it for oil but I suspect it will be the same result. I would have rather paid a bit more for a good one. I would have made less of a mess if I would have removed my entire tank and drained it. The point of buying this was to cut down on the maintenance hours but instead, I spent more time cleaning the mess. Its a great idea, just needs to be perfected.

Out of the package it appears to be fine. There were no directions. As I attempted to attach the flexible hose I noticed that the locking feral supplied measured 8 mm inside diameter. The outside diameter of the hose was 10 mm. No way was this hose going to work I tried freezing and heating. I carefully drilled out the center of the feral to 9.5 mm (3/8) to get the hose through the feral. It does seem to have a snug fit . Then using a pencil sharpener tapered the 10 mm hose to insert it in the feral. It was still a tight fit. I could not pull it apart by hand. Also supplied were two 6.0 mm hard plastic lines 22 mm long with rubber caps. There was no supplied 8mm tube as described. In the box was an aluminum barbed coupling 7mm x 6 mm as well as a rubber coupling 10 mm x 6.0 mm. The one thing I did like was a pair of replacement "O" rings. There is no check valve so be prepared to hold the device so as not to spill. It will be interesting to see how this will work in my shop.
