The health of the car chassis is directly related to the performance, safety, and service life of the vehicle
1. Road surface impact and scratching:potholes, bumps, and rural roads can cause impact the chassis. It damages the oil pan and gearbox housing, causing problems such as oil leakage
2. Corrosion and rusting:such as rainwater, snow water, salt water, etc. are prone to splashing onto the chassis, and long-term accumulation can cause rusting and corrosion of the chassis metal components.
3. Stone impact and noise:When driving at high speeds, flying small stones, sand particles, etc. can cause frequent impacts on the chassis, accelerating chassis aging.
The original engine case guard did not effectively protect the vehicle chassis
The problems faced by the Old Engine Splash Shield :
1.Wear and aging:Prolonged exposure to harsh road conditions can cause wear and tear on the chassis guard, resulting in damage.
2.Loosening and detachment:With the aging and the rusting, the engine case guard become loose and detached
3.High temperature:The old guard deformed and unable to effectively guide airflow, resulting in an increase in engine compartment temperature

Adopting principles of engineering mechanics, adding reinforcement bars to improve product hardness.
Increase air vents to reduce wind resistance and lower engine temperature.Add engine oil maintenance ports for easy daily maintenance

Easy to install, about a half hour to install, all holes lined up perfectly, the instructions and bag of fasteners worked very well, and does re-use some bolts from the old shield. Looks great, very strong. We are very pleased.

Broke after driving one day after installation. Didn’t fit properly For my 2023 Hyundai sonata hybrid. Not worth the money. Got shipped from a different delivery service than Amazon and the delivery driver left my skid plates outside my yard for anyone to take around the holidays. It’s wasn’t as cheap as it was cheaply built so if it was stolen I doubt I’d be able to get ahold of customer service for a refund since they have got back to me over a 2 weeks. Do not buy from this seller. You have been warned

Material was definitely better, but it was short across the front and didn't line up with the holes. Few zip eyes and all is good.

The under cover is definitely better than the OEM. The original cover is thin made of other materials. But this new under cover is tough. When I went to have it install on my car, even the mechanics asked me where did I purchase this under cover. The mechanics words " this is a great tough under cover. It will definitely protect the engine. No plugs to hold it in place. It's screws and washers. Guaranteed secured. I'm happy with the choice of purchasing this great tough under cover for protect underneath my car.

This does NOT line up with the holes on the 2021 Sonata like it says that it will. Don’t but, you will be wasting your time and money.

I replaced the part because some bozo was driving on the highway and a ladder fell off his car and I ran over it… ripped the whole shield. This was a perfect replacement and the cheapest option, more sturdy than the original part
