We purchased this tie for my sons "spring" Orchestra Concert. We didn't want gim to wear the same one from the "winter" Concert. It looked really good against the white button down and black pants. It really popped against the white. I think it was a tad pricey/pricier than some We were looking at but the quality seems to be there so makes it worth it and will last. I say it will last because he is 9 and the fit was good vut definitely has room to grow with it. For the winter Concert he wore a tie that was (not clip on) but pre tied and wrapped around d and had a zipper. That was very easy to put on etc. But since my husband is good at tying ties, it was no biggie. My only gripe is, I wish it was skinnier (and didn't get a little wider towards the bottom) as the one he wore previously was a tad thinner.Overall, we are very happy with the tie and I recommend it.
