I use the black glue to fill knot holes in soft wood projects and it works great. It dries up hard and is easy to work with. It's very easy to scrape away any excess with a razor and sands great as well. I have a small generic glue gun that seems to have been in my house forever and the sticks work great with it.

Sticks to polypropylene kayak hull! I originality purchased this to fill small drill hole in the black gunnels of my Old Town Next hybrid kayak. After a test on the hall, I was able to securely attach 2 pad eyes to the hall floor! I used an angle die grinder with course sanding disc to rough the surface, glued in the pad eyes and heated it all with a heat gun. When I could feel the other side of the hall warm, I stopped. The pad eye cooled and are securely welded nicely to the kayak floor! Unbelievable!

The black hot glue works well. Flows nicely and has a nice gloss black color when it sets up. Still remains flexible when fully hardened.

Versatile hot glue that works with both high and low temp glue guns.Good all purpose hot glue suitable for repairing anything you would use normal hot glue for but the black color makes it less noticeable than the clear on darker items. I purchased it to reattach some loose weatherstripping (black rubber) on my car. Worked perfectly for my needs so far. Saved $300 versus the dealership.Holding out on that last star to see how well it holds up over time.Good luck!

Best to have black glue sticks for light blocking and other places.pretty strong once cooled
