I only had 6" of clearance and injector measured 6.875". The plastic tube section is slightly flexible and i managed to bend it and inject into my 18 year old HVAC system. It needed about 0.5 lbs of Freon for a 7.25 lb system which is up and running again for a few weeks now without freezing up. Time will tell if leak is sealed. PS injector unit will not work in reverse by attaching directly to the HVAC manifold low pressure side connector (no pressure reading or flow).

Added to my R22 system, so far so good, time will tell if it really seals the system from a very small leak, I believe it might even be the schrader valve8/12/24 Revised comments, At first it seemed to hold, until 8/9/24, massive leak lost all freon, now I have to replace my a/c system over 9,000.00+ dollars, buyer beware

The only problem was that because the product was straight and I needed to get into a tight area, I had to improvise with my hoses to use the 90 on the hose and a male flare coupler to actually introduce the stop leak into the ac system. If it came with a 90 it would have been perfect.
